Wow. I can't believe that I am done with this series. It has been quite a journey. I really enjoyed this final volume. It was very good. I can't sing Sandersons praises enough. Most of the time, if his name wasn't on the cover, I would swear the Jordan was still the one writing. Truly brilliant. There were a lot if people that had to have there stories finished up here and most of them were done with extreme care and done very satisfyingly. I especially loved what happened to Rand. With that being said though there were some plot points that I don't feel we're concluded all that well and some that I don't think got concluded at all. But i will say that it has to be hard to tie up all these characters. There are a lot of them and I can't speak highly enough about this book. Thank you Robert Jordan and Brandon Sanderson for bringing this world to life for us to share in. Even if the middle books dragged on to much :) The only problem I have now is what huge series am I going to read next?

Great end to a true epic fantasy!

LAST BOOK. All my opinions. While reading. This is just for me to read back later on.

I love Pevara and Androl. These are two I remember without realizing I remembered them. I wish they had their own series. I feel like what's happening to the Black Tower is justified. Rand completely ignored this area. And he definitely ignores all the red flags.

I will admit that the convergence in this book is one of the best.

I am not feeling a connection between rand and his chicks. MAYBE Min (still hate her) but that's because she's been glued to him entire series.

Lots of fighting. It's great.

Why is Elayne leader of armies when you got someone like Mat? He's MIA but Nobody thought to mention him?

LOVED MAT AND RAND MEETING AGAIN

The four generals being used unknowingly is amazing. Such a good, but sad plot line.

Between Tuon and Egwene...I'll pick Tuon. I dislike Egwene that much.

60% in. I feel like this book is unnecessarily long but good. Just could be finished with less pages.

Feel like there's a lot of plot holes. It's all good though

The gateway as a map is awesome.

Gawyn is crap. An idiot.

Poor Rhuarc

I have no words for rest of book. So intense. I cried for Egwene even though I hated her so much. Wow. Acting like its my first read instead of third.

Not the biggest fan of the ending. Felt like it was a slap in the face to others who did so much and cared so much for Rand. Now I remember why I hated Rand.

I listened the whole series as audiobooks so it was literally hundreds of hours spent in elaborately described fantasy. Due to the format I cannot spell or even recognise a single noun invented for the world, an there are huge amount of them, especially names of characters, regions and tribes. The late author used a lot of words for everything, quite a lot of repetition and re-re-explanation of some habits and consepts. There was still a sense of constant development, of both the protagonists and the usage of the one power and the overall quality of storytelling which kept me going. .. and after reading half of the books one just had to find out how the last battle would turn out in the end! ;)

This last book and the whole series was enjoyable experience, especially as audiobooks. I think I would have been disheartened many times before the moon-reaching pile of huge tomes.
