The way that I loved this book. Back in June, I did a reread of the entire Billionaire Bad Boy series, so I was primed and ready to go for this release. It's just everything I could have wanted and more. Max Monroe are really hitting their stride tapping into more angsty and drama filled books while still maintaining all of the humor and fun they are known for.

Finn Hayes is starting college at Dickinson University with a major chip on his shoulder and a grudge he's looking to unload on his English Lit professor, Ty Winslow. You see, he found his dad's journal and what do you know but his abusive father had an entire family he abandoned before changing his name and creating another one to abuse. After finding out he has all these half siblings that are hugely successful, he's out for a bit of destruction.

Scottie is a sweet cheerleader that comes to the university with her high school boyfriend. The guy she thought she loved for those years, is really just an all around jerk, and now she sees him for who he is. A chance meeting in the rain crashing into broody Finn sets them both on a path of will they or won't they. Two broken teens trying to figure out how to live with the baggage they both carry while not knowing what they other has been through before they met.

Finn gets an amazing roommate, Ace Kelly, that worms his way into a friendship and family that he could never imagine. Lots of encounters with the parents since Julia and Lexi are in this book and factor in with the Winslows. Our much loved Bad Boy Billionaires that have created their own families are growing and adding as their children grow and flood us with more characters to accept and love.

This book has the reader running through all the emotions. Happy, sad, anger, devastation, and most importantly, love. So much love is in this story and you're just left feeling so full.

This is a New Adult, college romance with hints of a secret society (it’s not a dark secret society, I found this less dramatic version refreshing, fun and exciting.)
It’s a second generation story, you don’t need to read the prior books to read this. The older characters are secondary and still enjoyable if you aren’t familiar with them. They are absolutely hilarious and zany.
Scottie and Finn are very likable, they meet on the first day of Freshman year of college.
I love how Finn’s goals change and how he falls from his no attachment/relationship attitude. The right people come into his life and it’s such a rewarding element of this story.
Scottie is not the stereotype she seems, she’s a cheerleader who went to an exclusive private school, but there’s much more to her than first meets the eye.
The two are immediately attracted to each other, but there are obstacles and drama that keep getting in the way.
The drama and angst is very college age appropriate. It wasn’t overdone and some of it covers very important topics.
The secondary college characters are great! Scottie and Finn make some fantastic friends who bring laughter and chosen family vibes to the story. They are hilarious and great people. Big personalities I found so easy to love.
The drama involves some very unlikable characters, they bring a lot of tension and some pain. I love the way these situations play out and are handled.
Towards the end I had no expectation that I would experience quite a plot surprise that had me tearing up and very emotional.
I love these characters, the story is engaging and full. It’s so different from this author duo’s other books that I’ve read and I loved this as well.
The ending was perfect, I can’t wait for more stories from these characters and their world.

Wow, what a ride.

This book will put you through it. She's thick, at 593 pages there is a lot to work through. Learning Curve is a slow burn new adult novel filled with angst and loads of drama. Finn and Scottie are college students at Dickson University and run into each other soon after arriving. Both come from troubled backgrounds/families and are super guarded emotionally. Finn is the "bad boy" and Scottie is the virgin cheerleader. Their relationship is a constant push and pull.

You are intruded to several other characters that I loved also. Max Monroe did in excellent job building these characters and my heart broke for them throughout the book. Honestly, I felt like this book could have been shortened ALOT. At times it felt like it dragged on and on forever. This is a new adult novel but at times it felt more like high school drama than college. Some events were very unrealistic but made this story memorable. THE ENDING!!! The ending made the whole thing worth it.

Overall, this is a sold 3 stars for me. I do feel like someone younger would enjoy this book more.

Huge thank you to Netgalley for allowing me to read an ARC of Learning Curve.

Max and Monroe have knocked it out of the park again. Finn and Scottie are adorable and I love everything about this book. They had a lot of obstacles to get through so they could finally be together but it was all worth it. They had such an instant connection that they couldn't deny no matter how hard they tried. The fact that he kept bringing her everything she needed to get through the day even though she still wanted nothing do with him made me scream, such a good guy. The found family was also so fun and I can't wait for everyones book. I want Julia and Ace's book next but I guess I'll be fine with Blake and Lexi.

I received an arc through netgalley.

Ok you know that tv show that you know will never win a big award but is still so addicting (thing Gossip Girl or Riverdale)? That is this book!!!

I could not put it down, even though I cannot tell you why I was so addicted. I loved the FMC, Scottie, even though she has SUCH a tough lot given to her. No matter how prickly Finn (the MMC) seems on the outside, he is such a sweetheart and I loved seeing it.

I will say, the book could have ended at about 80% (before the cheerleading competition). It may not have given as complete of a character arc, but it kind of felt like we were really stretching for the last 20%

Overall, I unnecessarily enjoyed this book and look forward to the next one in the series!!

I absolutely loved this book and every single character in it. This book pulled at all of my emotions and I loved the roller coaster ride it took me on.

I really don’t want to give to much away with this book so my review will be shorter than usual.

I loved the friendships in this book! Finn, Ace and Blake were so fun to see/read about. I thought Ace was hilarious especially with his and his Dads prank wars. I really loved Blake and his devotion to his friends and Scottie who he didn’t know but stood up for when he first met her. The friend groups are some of my favorite parts to see in a book and this one did not disappoint. If anything I am super excited to see how this series continues just to see them all get their HEA.

Now onto Scottie and Finn. These two are the definition of people who should not really be together but have all the force and pull bringing them together. Of course there were times I got frustrated with them but I mean that’s natural we all get frustrated with relationships even in real life. I did love how both characters communicated with each other after everything they went through together. Scottie went through so much that no one person should ever go through…I really felt for her and felt she really just needed a break. I really did love how Finn just overall loved. That man would do anything for the people he loves (and he did). Finn’s support for Scottie at the end was everything.

I can’t wait to see more of these two in future books. And I especially can not wait for the next book! Blake and Lexi are going to be so much fun I can already see it!

Thank you Hambright PR for the arc of this book.
