3 stars because I just couldn't like this book as much as I liked the first 2 books.

Good:
-The mutants and their growth. We already find out a bit about them in the first and second book, but in this book it is even more clear. The mutants are changing, and luckily for the humans it seems they are changing for the better.
-Fade + Deuce romance! I love me some good romance, and I was so happy to see various things happening in this book. Things that also caused me to laugh aloud. I won't spoil much, but I am sure others will have a small laugh about it too.
They still make a wonderful couple, and Deuce is very patient with Fade and his problems. She just kept waiting, enjoying the small moments they had together. Waiting for her loved one to heal and to enjoy the touches again.
-The worldbuilding and the gorgeous details of the many towns we visit. I especially loved Rosemere, it sounds like a town out of a fairytale.
-The ending was a bit anti-climatic, though I did like it. I liked to have a conclusion to such a gruesome war.
-The Cover. So happy that it is matching the rest. The many times I have series that have different covers, because someone thought it would be fun to just change them after 1 or 2 books.

The bad:
-I was absolutely not expecting the death of a certain character. Why!!!!
-The war, war and war. I know it was said and hinted towards in the second book, but I think we could have easily skipped 100 pages of just nothing (sorry, I am not a war girl, nor do I like politics and all that). Instead it just dragged and droned on and on and on. At times I was just ready to drop the book, put it away and just forget this book existed. So yeah, the war and all that surrounds it is what made me drop at least 1.5 star off this book.
-The mad scientist. I just knew something was bound to happen, and sadly it happened.
-The idiocy of people. Seriously, you would think people would have learned from ancient history, but it seems they didn't. Making the same stupid decisions, doing the same things that caused all this mess in the first place.

All in all, still a balanced book, but again, it could do without all the war stuff.

I'm gonna call this 4.5 stars. It was great, I loved it. It was nice getting to know the Freaks as more than intelligent killing machines. When I first started Enclave, I never thought the series would end like this. And it's past time more people read books that are as great as this.

Horde was a great ending to the razorland series. I would have loved to give it five stars, but there were annoying punctuation errors and confusing pronoun usage that often jarred me from the story. Other than that--I loved it! Deuce and Fade did not disappoint and you only grow to love all the characters more. There was a huge amount of death in this book but I was glad that few of the deaths were characters I had grown to know and like (although a few that I had grown to known and like, sadly, did die).
I loved the amount of action in the story. You would think the constant fighting and battling would become repetitive but Ms. Aguirre does a wonderful job of varying the fighting so that you learn something knew--about the enemy, about a character, about the surroundings--each time.
Coming up on the final battle at the end, I was worried about who would not be returning safe and whole, but I was not disappointed and the story came to a nice, if not a little too neat, ending.
An intriguing and enjoyable series that I am sad to see end--but what a great series it was!

Absolutely fantastic ending to one of my favorite trilogies. I loved it! Like, LOVE LOVE LOVED it. It was perfect. It was intense, made me cry, made me laugh, and ultimately made me feel amazed.

Wow. I am simply stunned. That was just the absolute most perfect ending. What a fantastic way to end this amazing trilogy. I am so freaking proud of Deuce!!! You are my hero!! Truly inspiring!! <3 U Deuce Forever!!!

I would highly recommend the Razorland Trilogy to those of you who adore an independent heroine, who strongly believe that one person can change the world, and most importantly, for those of you who would like to finally see the female play the part of the "Knight in shining armor" for once, and for the man to play the "Damsel in distress." ;) I think it's high time the women start learning how to save their men and not get themselves into seriously crap situations.

I shouldn't have waited so long to get to #3. Too bad it lost a lot of momentum for me, but I'm still happy to have read more of Ann's books.

I really loved the beginning of the story, but I just couldn't make it to the end of this trilogy. The plot was too drawn out and I was bored with all the main characters and romance plot.

So i loved this. Very much. Very very much. In fact so much, that I had a mini dancing party, alone, in my room, at 3 the morning, to fully express my joy.

Aguirre manages to make a seemingly typical subject: dystopia+ brave female lead+ a goodlooking tortured male lead + a smidgen of sexual tension + super power and make it completely incredible. I don't know what recipe she's using but, by golly, its working .

Considering the first two books in this series were wonderful, ( and i had just read the final of the Divergent series and been super dissapointed -- you can find my review for that) I was honestly not expecting too much.

She blew me out of the water. Into happy kittens and unicorns land.

I loved Deuce and how her character is never stagnant. I love her loyalty and Deuce's mind set of KNOWING WHAT SHE GODAMN WANTS. There is nothing more annoying than a weak willed heroine. seriously grow some balls. Anyways Deuce is NOT like that, and its perfect. She has just the right amount of flaws to balance her strengths.

Aguirre makes all her characters have a purpose and getting to know these new brave souls made reading Horde all the more interesting.

Fade, as per usual, had my heart beating way too fast for my mortal body: but it was worth it. He, like Deuce, evolves as the story progresses thereby making it so that there is never a dull moment. The Fade he is in the beginning of the story is not how he is at the middle, or as he is in the end.

I will definitely be reading more of Aguirre's works. There is much to be found between the covers of her books. I really enjoyed this and I think mostly everyone will as well!!
