I enjoyed this book a lot- I’m
going to be thinking about it for a while. I didn’t like the first chapter at all but I’m glad I saw it through. There were a few parts of the book I felt to be unnecessarily violent and graphic
such as the part where Anders is m*sturbating in the restaurant bathroom*
It wasn’t needed for me and left a very sour taste in my mouth. But I enjoyed that all of the characters made huge, life altering mistakes and the author wasn’t trying to convince you that what they did was ok because they are human, which made me
accept the mistakes and still love the characters because I came to that by myself. Overall a great read.

“wherever you are going, it is waiting for you”

Takeaway: We are all just people trying to make sense of the deeply connected, twisted webs of life and love. Damn

A melancholic beauty seeps through the pages. There are many creatives in this book, and the language matches that perfectly. I enjoyed the different styles when we were with different characters. Although Cleo and Frank are central, we also get glimpses into those who touch their lives and steer them. My favourite was Eleanor - it is with her I laughed most.

The story/plot isn't that important to this book, it is more the feeling(s) you get while reading it. I will be thinking about this long after turning that final page. Though it isn't exactly enjoyable, as it is so... devastating, it is very clever and will get you reflecting on your own life, loves, and relationships.

I wasn't expecting to be touched like that by this book. This was a really good surprise. This book put me through a whole range of emotions and I found myself sad, angry and even scared. I like the fact that this book was a collection of life changing moments (some obvious and other more subtle) of different people who could be you or me.
