Kept me guessing all the way to the end!
Whoa! I tried Daisy Darker by Alice Feeney, and I already had high expectations for this one, but I can say that His and Hers was even better. The best parts include its intricate plot, unreliable narrators, and a dark, suspenseful atmosphere that keeps readers engaged until the very end. It was as dark as a scary movie, and I really enjoyed it. The short chapters and tight narrative made me finish it in one day. I love Feeney’s work, and I feel her writing is underrated. Plus, I found a subtle theme of childhood bullying, similar to Daisy Darker. The final reveal is a masterstroke that ties together the multiple layers of the story, leaving readers questioning everything they thought they knew.
i really thought i had this book figured out, but of course alice feeney does it again. love her
This book has SO. MANY. TWISTS. But honestly, it felt like a bit more than it needed. I love books that you can’t put down because you just HAVE to know what is going on.. and this book was definitely that. But the final “most shocking” twist just lost me. I would have been more satisfied if the author wrapped up the story without the final 4-5 pages.
Solid thriller. Figured out a few of the twists early, but still enjoyed the red herrings and seeing exactly how it would shake out
Fucking wild!!! This book was intense and an wicked thrill. Nothing is what you think and up until the end you are sitting at the edge waiting for the finale.
What a plot twist at the end, this one kept me guessing. Very well written.
