A psychological thriller told in alternating chapters from the perspective of Anna, Jack and the killer. Richard Armitage did a fantastic job narrating Jack's side of the story. While the book kept me listening at every opportunity, I just found it hard to believe the twist at the end. Psychological thrillers that do not have a feasible plot are a deal breaker for me and parts of this book hit that wall.

Great for fans of unreliable narrators! This story is told from the perspectives of a reporter, an detective, and the murderer. However, as you read, it is unclear if the murderer is truly a third character at all. Everyone in this story has a motive, and the author kept me guessing the whole time. Every time I thought I had it figured out, I quickly began to doubt myself again.
If you are thinking about reading it, I highly recommend the audio version. The narrators are amazing and the murderer's sections are especially creepy.

This has quickly added itself to my favorites list.

It’s one I wish I could read again just to feel the jaw dropping shocks again.
