JOARR AND GWYN FOREVER!!! What a super fun read! I really enjoyed the way the story developed and the fun banter between these two. We got so much more backstory to Joarr and the recent history of the Mountain. I can’t wait to see how the changes Gwyn put in place help the Mountain and the Bautul!

One of my favs of this series!

Joarr is so much fun and I really enjoyed being outside while still being at orc mountain. Gwyn also has a good strong mind of her own which I appreciate. I liked meeting more of the other women, and having Stella's story expanded on.

I feel like Joarr suddenly not being Skai was fairly confusing because we just ended the previous book with him as Skai. It was still cool to see his development of his relationship to his clan. Idk if he needed to be a Seer though.

Finley Fenn's writing has improved so much and this book is one of my favourites of hers.

A major critique I have is the I trust him, I don't trust him, I want to fuck let's fuck, I never want to see him ever again, rinse and repeat plot that we've seen in her previous books in this series can get really repetitive. It's a bit like emotional whiplash. Finley brings the angst though so it'd be out of character to have a woman come willingly to orc mountain with the explicit intent of establishing a relationship.

Gwyn does say he lied to her but tbh I can't work out how he did? Like orcs are a different culture and none of these books have women who respect or understand that which annoys me. So that's why it lost half a star.  Also thankful she doesn't run away from him omg so much running in the previous books!!!!.
the spice was brilliant too!

Better than most from this series but not as good as the Librarian one.

NAUGHTY, FUNNY, SO SEXY & AMAZING

The best of the Orc Sworn Series. There’s always “SEXY”in the Orc Sworn, but now there’s oh so “TASTY FUN”. Joarr gives some much needed spirit uplifting to Gwyn. Always tricking and testing her resolve, Joarr is relentless in transforming her to the clever, luscious, intoxicating heroine that she was always meant to be, strengthening her backbone. All the while he’s being nurtured through her dedication and strong spirit. Gwyn helps him realize his worth in the Orc Mountain. Through their rocky road of love, fun , sexual escapades and naughtiness they help themselves grasp the life they subconsciously wanted and deserve. Such a great read!

This is by far my favorite couple. Nothing more to add. I agree with all of the 4 and 5 star reviews.

DID NOT FINISH: 40%

This is the third book from the series I have read but I couldn’t continue as the plot is the same in each book - orc seduces a human woman under false pretences to gain the upper hand against mortal men. It would have been nice if the woman, in this case a feminist midwife, went to the orc mountain of her own volition to help the women and a romance blossomed!
