Don’t stop there!!

Noooooo!! There’s nothing worse than stopping at a climax! Ah!!! Good thing the next book in the series is already out! Here is a quick re-cap and my full two cents.

Quick Re-cap:

Crud, I don’t remember where the last book left off. So forgive me if I include things from book 1.

Sadie denounces Tyler as her alpha and creates her own pack with Axel, Donovan, and Roxie. Tyler attacks Axel and Donovan and they’re on the brink of death, so Sadie and Roxie turn them into full wolf shifters.

Sadie, the vampires and her pack escape to Lillith’s home. While there, Sadie meets a neighboring pack who knows about her history and fills her in about her past. Also, the Fae come searching to kill Sadie.

All this culminated in Sadie being taken by Brock and Tyler again.

My two cents:

I need to get back to this series. I seriously can’t put it down. So let’s make this fast!

I’m curious how this will wrap up in one more book. There are currently a lot of loose ends. I can’t wait to read it though!

There were fewer grammar and editing issues with this book. Yay!

I loved Sadie meeting the new pack and the explanation on her weird new powers. I also loved that now Donovan and Axel are full shifters too.

There were some good sex scenes.

Overall, this is still a great series! Now excuse me while I go finish it! Happy reading y’all!!

We pick up right where we left off in the first book. Sadie, Donovan and their pack have new threats they have to deal with in this part of the story. We find out more about Sadie’s past. I love Sadie’s strength and watching her and her pack work well together to protect each other. Sarah Puckett does a great job bringing all of the characters in the story to life.

3.5 ⭐ Storyline kept me interested

The characters need more substance, but the storyline is great. One heck of a cliffhanger in this one. I'm still going to read the next one because I'm just too curious to find out how this ends.

Does end on a stunning cliffhanger be warned. While Sadie and her pack, which i love the way the pack grows closer in this one, are trying to stay away from the ones out to kill her she has to change Donovan and Axel so they can live. Along with that are some stunning shocks and some awesome twist that i didnt see coming. i love this sequel and cant wait to read the last book in this trilogy.

Things have really gone off the rails with regards to Sadie’s life in college. Now she is on the run, with the help of her friends, nothing is ever going to be the same, and there’s no going back.

This books takes the foundation built in book one and kicks it up a notch. We have transformations, secrets and revelations, alliances and betrayals, and even the steam gets a nice boost. The found family aspect is also elevated with their need to rely on each other even more. The dynamics between all the different characters both in and outside the main circle is entertaining and feels real, organic. The relationship between Sadie and Donovan doesn’t just suddenly “work”, but they work together to figure things out.

Overall, a really good continuation of the story, with an expected cliffy, leading us into the third book of the trilogy. As an upper YA PNR, this book and series seems to be holding its own well.
