Hmm, this one is hard for me to rate. This is really a book of philosophy and big questions about a life well spent, with a major emphasis on "let that shit go." Burkeman's style is very readable, and I appreciated a lot of his larger points; reading this gave me new perspectives to mull over (and also a few ideas about managing my to-do list).
Here's the thing with me, though: I kind of hate philosophy. So this was a slow one, and a little hard to get through. That's me, not the book! I would recommend it to anyone interested in a philosophical approach to questions about life, work, family, and productivity.

I would suggest reading a physical copy as the audiobook was too quick a medium to absorb the message of this book. I’ll be buying a used copy so that I can really put the suggestions into practice (although I do wish more concrete suggestions would have been addressed at the end of each chapter for clarity). Overall though, this book is an important one!

If you’re looking for a time management book and to squeeze more out of the day - this is the book you probably need instead. While I didn’t fall in love with the writing style (more stream on consciousness, imo), I absolutely found so much value in the message. Ive incorporated the questions the author poses into journal prompts and self check-ins throughout the day. It’s also sparked meaningful conversations with others and really given a different perspective to the typical narrative of time management.
