Not a bad little story, but not on the same level of some of Katee's other books -- some parts felt a bit forced, but overall it was a decent enough story to lose myself in for a few hours.  Still on the fence if I'll read the rest of the series when it's released

This book was written specifically for me. If you're not into monster romance books, it's not for you. Like, this is about a dragon man with two dicks and his human bride who is very much into being with a dragon man with two dicks. But I loved it. Not only is it an actually weird monster romance (I was so worried Robert would be like "oh, they can actually go into human form," but she stayed strong), but the romance is rather sweet.

Also, I LOVE that Robert listed the trigger warnings in the beginning of the book.

So when I read the tags for this, I knew I just had to read this and it didn't disappoint!
It was a great short read I liked the characters, the story and oh yeah the spice šŸ˜‰
I can't wait for the other books in this series and will definitely be adding the rest of Katee's books to my never ending TBR
If you want to read something short and spicy I would definitely recommend this! (Is available on KU)

CWs: domestic abuse (historical, off-page, but the heroine is dealing with the aftermath of getting out of that relationship), murder (off-page), human/non-human sex, undiscussed anal, size difference, explicit sex, breeding, light choking, injuries for blood magic, small incidental injuries, pregnancy (epilogue), birth (epilogue)

We all know that  this is part of a series, but Iā€™m getting excited for these other books just from the second and third chapters. Other than that, it was a quick, fun read for any monster lovers out there

Honestly, I really enjoyed this! It gave me the same kind of feels that the wicked villains series did. And it felt slightly nostalgic as well as very sexy and deeper than you would anticipate monster smart to be which seems to be a key factor in Katie Roberts is writings and I love her creativity and I love her willingness to explore the kinky and dirty and the things no one else typically likes to talk about. And she provides really great content add a really incredible pace. I just love her work and I love her and I canā€™t wait to carry on with this monster series :-)

Not my favourite Katee Robert book. It felt like a book that should have been longer, just to give it more room to breathe, more emotional weight, more space for the plot and charactersā€™ journey. Personally I would have liked it more if the heroine hadnā€™t essentially lusted after him at first sight, if heā€™d had to win her overā€¦ because he seemed like he would be so good at it!

I didnā€™t really like the forced birth control removal in the heat of the moment (she might not have stopped him, but Iā€™m not comfortable with that without a conversation beforehand since she was so against it). And Iā€™d never heard of a double-dicked monster beforeā€¦ ā€œupper cockā€ and ā€œlower cockā€ were two words put together that Iā€™d never contemplated. There were things that made this a more palatable auction/deal with a demon for me (the dragon gets the opportunity to try to seduce his bride over 7 years and isnā€™t allowed to hurt her without suffering immense consequences), but sadly it wasnā€™t as good as I was hoping it would be.
