Aah, I enjoy a John Grisham novel. You always know what you're going to get and it's always fun. It's been a while since I read one, but this one seemed to be filled with even more twists and turns than the previous ones and I enjoyed it.
Not too bad!
I still think there's more to the story, but as usual, I love John Grisham's books. They are quick reads and take me back to my legal practice days, not that I want to go back. I always know there will be a twist, but I especially liked this one because I didn't have it all figured out too soon. Great read!

Interesting read. This was my first or second John Grisham book and I enjoyed it. The twist I didn't see coming, but judging by the other reviews, that's his style. I wouldn't say it's a must read, but if you've got a few hours and want a short read about a guy screwing the system (sort of, because really, not gonna happen), this book was a nice little thriller/legal drama.
Grisham like Patterson is one of those authors who inhabits a ton of real estate in the library. I tend to not seek out reads like his, but I understand that many people enjoy his books.
So, thanks to my bookclub, I can now add this and Skipping Christmas as my two Grisham reads. What did I think? I was mildly invested in the story, but when you make the FBI into keystone cops in order to make the protagonist the smartest schemer ever, I felt the plot sank to the level of ridiculous.

A return to the Grisham from the time of The Firm. Loads of twists and turns, a quicker pace than some of his most recent ones, and a fun read.

Classic Grisham. Entertaining enough, but won't reread. Not his best work.
