Incendiary is an intense, dangerous story of love, magic, and revolution. I absolutely loved it— the characters, the deadly world, the beautiful magic— ALL OF IT! Full of twists and turns I never saw coming, the ending will leave you breathless and heartbroken that the sequel is so far away. I can not recommend this beautiful story more.
3.5 stars. I need to process my thoughts. Will probably pick up the sequel.

at first I was excited to start this book, I found the whole plot interesting. however, it really wasn't quite what I expected and I'm not saying I hated it but damn, it was all SO SLOW, so many pages and nothing remotely interesting was happening. so I'm not sure if I'll read the next book, but if I do I hope there is a big improvement compared to this one.
My bestie worded this perfectly "When I started reading this, it felt like I should have read something before this book as this seems like a continuation." - Yes.
