Meh. I read it but in chunks. I guess I'm just not fond of the maturity level of most of the characters. And the fact that they only seem to talk about one thing....
Wasn't really fond of Charlene basically being selfish/toxic while they were "shopping". Like hey, that's great for *you* but it doesn't mean you get to be pushy and decide what's best for someone else.

I love Alex and Violet! I know some people think the humor is too over the top but it made me laugh. A lot. I loved reading about all the couples together. Randy and Lily were adorable and what's up with Darren and Charlene? I hope the author continues with this series. I would love to read about all of them with a bunch of kids. This is a funny, stress free read that will make you laugh out loud.
So, I liked it, but I didn't love it. Violet's still snarky, Alex's still sexy, but something was just off for me with this one. Almost like it was trying too hard.
The story definitely got better as it went along, but the beginning, for me, was kind of cliche boring. It starts out with Alex and Violet getting into disagreements about her continuing to work, and her feelings about not wanting to be one of "those women" who don't work. Man, that stuff really bugs me. Why so judgmental? You never hear men talking about "those men". Men are allowed to make whatever decisions for their lives that they want, but for some reason, we group women by their decisions and find them lacking because of them. I hate that.
Anyway, luckily, Ms.Hunting fooled me on the direction of the book, and we moved on to other things.

From the middle onward, the focus is on Alex and While it was exciting at first, it just kind of dragged for me after a few chapters. Just not a lot going on; the same conversations rehashed over and over. Alex worrying about his career; Violet worrying about not getting enough sex. And then of course, all the complaining about the moms trying to push Violet into a big wedding. Again.

I don't know...it just felt like there wasn't anything new here. At least Violet and Alex got married, but that was about it. And that was done in like 2 pages. I guess overall I'd say this felt more like a novella that got stretched out to fill more pages to make it into a longer book. Perhaps if it had been cut down, it would have felt as fun as the earlier books.
I'm still looking forward to continuing the series, but just not super thrilled with this one.

Violet and Alex are BACK, and I am living for it! This book is sweet, sexy, hilarious, and has so much heart. It’s everything I wanted for Beaver and Super MC as they navigate love, life, and a little thing called wedding planning.
What I Loved:
- Violet’s Chaos: Violet is still her quirky, unfiltered self, and I love her for it. She’s all awkwardness and hilarity, but she has such a big heart. Her fear of wedding planning makes her so relatable, and her humor kept me laughing the entire time.
- Alex’s Devotion: Alex is just dreamy. He’s patient, loving, and absolutely head-over-heels for Violet. Seeing how much he supports her and handles her antics is swoon-worthy.
- The Humor: As always, this book delivers on the laughs. Whether it’s Violet’s outrageous comments, the moms meddling with wedding plans, or the hilarious group dynamics, I had a smile on my face the entire time.
- The Drama: There’s a deeper layer of emotion in this one, especially when Alex faces a life-changing incident. It made their love story feel real and grounded, and I loved how they leaned on each other through it all.
- The Crew: Seeing all the other couples again is like catching up with old friends. Their banter, support, and love for one another add so much warmth to the story.
The Wedding Vibes:
Violet’s wedding anxiety is too real, but watching her and Alex navigate it is heartwarming. From their over-the-top moms to the sweet moments between the two of them, it’s the perfect mix of chaos and romance.
Final Thoughts:
Forever Pucked is everything I wanted and more. It’s funny, emotional, and filled with love. Violet and Alex’s journey is the perfect blend of laughter and heart, and the epilogue? SO GOOD. If you loved Pucked, this is a must-read. And if you haven’t started this series yet, what are you waiting for?

I can't get enough of this series. This fourth installment takes us back to visit the first couple of the series, Alex and Violet, who are now planning their wedding. Violet and her lack of filter are back with a vengeance and it's glorious. Aside from the tears of laughter, this book brought on the waterworks for real. There is a serious accident in this book and seeing it from the point of all the characters involved is heartbreaking.
What I loved most about this book though, is that while the POVs switch between Violet and Alex, there is really more of an ensemble cast. Sunny and Miller (Book 2) have a major announcement, Lily & Randy (Book 3) have plenty of screen time, there are a few surprising revelations about Lance (who will lead Book 5), and there are some intriguing insights into what might be happening with Charlene and Darren (who are supposedly getting their own book sometime next year). I think the parts when they're all together or in big groups (there's lots of girl time and guy time in this book) are some of the best scenes in this book.

Listened to this on audible and loved it. This is is so fun to read! I love the hockey, the humor, the characters and the sexy time haha. Violet and Alex and so adorable together, their relationship is so cute. I love Violet as a character, she seems like someone I would want to be friends with! She is outgoing, funny and caring. Alex is one of the few sexy hockey players from this series and is a great fit for Violet. I really enjoy this series a lot since we are able to see almost all the “main” characters throughout the whole series. It’s nice to see them always almost all together and see how even though a lot of them aren’t related they are still a very loving family and great characters!
