WOW!

Se me ha hecho un poco largo, algunas de las tramas de este libro se podrían haber resuelto en menos capítulos. No me puedo creer que todavía vaya por la mitad de la saga, qué más va a pasar por favor?????

Grace, Hudson & Jaxon return in the third book in the Crave series, Covet.

Grace’s time at Katmere has been complicated to say the least: she’s learned she’s a gargoyle, her mating bond with Jaxon is broken, and she almost died at the hands of Cyrus, Jaxon & Hudson’s father. Speaking of the Vega boys, her relationship status is…who even knows at this point. All she wants is to finish her senior year of high school & untangle the mess that is her feelings for Jaxon & Hudson. Unfortunately for Grace, getting what she wants is absolutely impossible. Grace must prepare for her coronation into The Circle & there’s also that small detail of a warrant out for her & Hudson’s arrest…thanks to Cyrus.

Grace will do anything to protect those she loves, her newfound family at Katmere…even if it means making the ultimate sacrifice.

Tracy Wolff’s third installment in the Crave series is by far one of my favorites…because of Hudson Vega. He’s the definition of ‘swoon worthy’ for sure but it’s clear throughout the book how much he cares for Grace…even if it takes her the whole entire 600+ pages to figure out her own mess of feelings. I can’t even say enough about this book, this series. I may not be the target audience age wise but I’m sure as hell enjoying the ride this series has taken me on. Wolff created a perfect balance of magic, fantasy & realism as supernatural beings fight off creatures while struggling with personality flaws, twisted beliefs & yes, even messy love lives. If you love vampires, witches, dragons, gargoyles & drama…lots of drama…definitely read Covet!

I love this series so much that when I wanted to buy them I cried because they were out of stock. Also because my sister said no.

OH MY GOD!!!!

Absolutely amazing! I couldn't stop reading. The emotions it had me feeling were so real that I almost stopped reading because it was getting to emotional for me. This book series is truly making it's way up to number 1 of all time.

I love this series so much! Such a good book!

I really tried, especially cause I already bought the next book in the series, but I could not for the life of me finish this book. Trying to get through it should be classified as a form of torture; it was so painful.

Well, well, well…color me surprised.

When I say I HATED the first two books in this series, I do not say that lightly. I honestly loathed them and wrote a dissertation to match. They were the most juvenile, unnecessarily lengthy reads I had ever suffered through.

Crave read like a weird Twilight/Harry Potter fanfic that regularly danced upon plagiarism imo and Crush was like reading a dramatic 12 year olds’s diary talking about the boys she liked in excruciating detail (which btw lol to the title of that now I think about it cause spot on). So how Tracy managed to pull this thoroughly enjoyable work of magic out of her ass is beyond me, but she really did the damn thing.

I originally got myself into this mess because Crush was just released and audible was promoting that by allowing Plus members to listen to both Crave and Crush for free and once I finished Crave my non-existent DNF bone cursed me into continuing the series. I also really did not vibe with the narrator, so I wanted to give it another shot once I was used to her, and I do think she grew into her role much better by Covet for sure.

I think this book was pretty excellent, definitely 4.5 stars after the first few stupid chapters, but those brought it down to a 4 for me overall. I also never liked Jackson and I’m SO glad I didn’t have to deal with his cliche brooding this whole novel, which probably factored into my enjoyment of this as well. The adventure actually made sense this time (they weren’t just doing shit to do shit anymore) and the character depth was much better as well. I can’t tell if she wrote the first two the way she did on purpose so that you can literally feel Grace’s maturity developing as you read, but if that was the end goal, that’s brilliant.

Sucked that I had to get to book 3 to feel like I was no longer wasting my time, but I think it paid off with how much I loved it.

TL;DR: skip the first two and start with Covet.

By far my favorite book of the series. I can’t wait for the fourth book to come out!
