I've got this one from my mom and was very skeptical at first. I mean, this book promises to get rid of my mood swings and my energy crashes...?!
I tried some of the hacks this morning and was flabbergasted. After 3 hours I am still satisfied and full.
Furthermore, this book is written with a lot of humor and really good examples. Still, it's based on studies and research. It's non-fiction (I never read this) and I love this book!

Didn't make it past the dedication. Her scientific research is her personal experience with a cgm... And now she's got a supplement she's trying to sell you. No thanks.

This is one of those books you read and cannot stop sharing with anyone that will listen to you. Hands down LIFE CHANGING, and a book that everyone should read. The balance of research, science, testimonials, and tangible application is flawlessly done. It was easy to digest (pun intended) and she did a phenomenal job in breaking down complex biology and science so you understand how your body works. While reading I began implementing her “hacks” and was blown away meal to meal at how such little changes made huge improvements in my energy levels, cravings, and emotional state. 10/10 - she reads the audio book and it’s superb!
Did you know that 9 out of 10 people in the USA are not “metabolically healthy?” That includes me unfortunately, the self-proclaimed sugar addict. I found this book after joining an intermittent fasting group and I’m so glad I did. The science in the book is AWESOME. The hacks are cool. Yeah, it’s not a diet book but once you’re done reading it, you’re going to have to change some of the things you eat because you can’t “unknow” the consequences. Especially if you actually care about your health. I loved learning about the science behind sugar and glucose spikes and how eating your food “in order” can minimize glucose spikes. Literally everything I’ve been eating (or the way in which I ate it) was doing bad things for my blood sugar. I’ve easily implemented literally all the hacks within a few days (and I still eat chocolate every freaking day!) and I can’t wait to see how my fasting glucose levels out in the next few months. And dare I say my brain fog is…clearing? And that I have…a little more energy? Good God if this sh*t really works I’m quitting my job and starting a Glucose Revolution cult. UPDATES TO COME.
