Really informative. Great hacks!

I have been working at a diabetes startup for three years and this book is the best resource I’ve found in explaining how glucose, insulin, and metabolism work in the body. Engaging, understandable, and convincing—excited to try these hacks!

Great though I wish there’d been more collaboration with other health and medical professionals. It seems there’s only one viewpoint here.

Easy to read, minimal jargon, simple graphs for visualisation purposes and explanations for any lay person to understand. And better yet, realistic, achievable ways to actually lower glucose spikes without going on the latest fad diet. There’s even recipes in the back if you’re looking for ways to incorporate fibre and healthy fats into your meals. The external validity of some of the research papers referenced isn’t great but the author is honest and upfront about this when mentioning these studies.
hopeful informative fast-paced

Time will tell if this is a 5 star book.
informative lighthearted

Really quick and easy listen.  Everyone should know and understand how glucose in its many forms affect their body. The author makes the concepts really easy to understand and her 10 ways things to change to flatten your glucose curve are relatively easily done.

Really an eye-opening book. I watched some of her videos already before diving into the book, but this is still very informative. I tried out some hacks before finishing the book and it is life changing indeed. I feel much better in my body. I don’t feel tired throughout the day and the mysterious craving in the afternoon has gone - which means I can better focus at work! Wow. The missing piece in adulthood I have been looking for.

[added on 3. September 2024: bad reviews is good for fact check, especially for people with less nutritional knowledge (like me). Thank you everybody for the counter-argument and warnings.]

Polecam.
