I was almost bored with the plot but what saved this book for me was the climax and the podcast.

I enjoyed the book mostly but the ending let it down. I loved the podcast aspect, it mixes it up a bit

3.5/5 stars. This book reminds me a lot of Sadie by Courtney Summers, which I think it will be compared to a lot on account of the podcast element, as well as the mystery and dual timelines. I did find myself getting a bit confused at times with the timelines as Frick alludes to Anna having visited Herron Mills previously and this really muddied the waters for me in terms of what was happening when. Although I didn't see the ending coming, I was a little unsatisfied by it, but overall, an interesting read.

I enjoyed the build up for the plot twist but once the actual plot was happened I was very let down and I wish it had a different ending.

3.5 stars rounded down because I didn’t love the ending & I think the book could’ve been just as good being 100 pages shorter.

Tried to read this over the course of like three years but finally just decided it wasn’t worth finishing, so skim read the last hundred pages or so

4.5/5 stars!!! This book was pretty great overall. Lots of different outcomes that were possible. The ending wasn’t my favorite, but I’ve discovered I’m very hard to please when it comes to thriller endings
