Wow. The people reading and reviewing this book must be a lot smarter than me. I found this book overwhelming.

Great discussion, but could have made the same points 1/5 of the length.

Surprise, plant based foods are good for you. Second surprise, you can't just take a pill for everything.

I enjoyed this. For some, the author may be including too much research to back up his claims, but of course that is necessary when discussing medical research that goes against most of what we hear in popular media. At times he does act as though adopting a whole-foods plant-based diet is accessible to most of us, and it simply isn't. But reading this was a reminder to move more in that direction.

I just though it fits in very nicely with what I was going to say so there is no need to repeat it again

Filled with exhaustive examples of corruption and cover ups, yet dearth particulars supporting the "Whole nutrition." The book indeed covered it some, but dwelled much more on addressing biases and criticisms rather than supporting it's own conclusions.

While I am a supporter of holistic or whole-istic eating, I find Campbell's writing tedious and too often caught up in academic drama I don't care about. He also seems to be a prat by his writing, unconfirmed. I'll keep eating well and seek out scientific writing in other forms.
