I found out some problematic things about the author (racism, ableism, fatphobia, etc) and didn't want to continue reading it

This was recommend to me by my therapist after I was recently diagnosed with PTSD. It has so much fantastic information, and it makes my life experiences make so much sense. It was quite difficult to get through at times; it covers a lot of heavy topics and stories of trauma, but it’s absolutely worth reading.

Very intense but also deeply interesting. This book has given me a lot to think about in regards to my own mental health, as well as my role and responsibilities while dealing with youth.

Hmm… this book was recommended to me. And while it was pretty informative, i wouldn’t say it held my interest to pick it up every day.
