Two very likeable characters with a largely sweet and subtly spicy story. Total and complete lack of conflict between the two and their worlds after growing up despising each other was a bit sanitized for me. Also a lot of therapized language during their moment together in a way that feels overwrought. Definitely enjoyed this light read while I was working but don’t think it’s knock the doors down a must read. Also, I listened to this book as an audiobook and something about the narrator really grated me, specifically Sage’s narrator’s vocalizations of Noah. The reader made her almost sound childish, in a young boy in a cartoon way. Really not into that and pulled me out of the story every time. Half star for queer stories!

The story was good, but the epilogue made me cry. I don’t care, I love girls in love. Deanna Grey knew she was cooking with this one too, I just know it.
I love a good story about an overachiever, but when both main characters are overachievers giiiiiirl I cannot. It’s so good, delicious, give me twenty!
It was an enemies to lovers trope, but it never had that whole frustrating ‘she’s in love but won’t admit it to herself’ thing going on. They knew it, and they owned it. Gotta love a good stereotype breaker.

Aw I love them and wish I could read their comics! Love a good happy ending

This is definitely a rivals to lovers arc and wow are they intense!! Their transition to romance felt abrupt and hardcore but they truly do care for each other and we love to see that

This was kinda cute but also kinda boring I never really emotionally connected with it
