OMG Chase + Megan's meet cute is the best! I loved Megan and Kennedy's relationship. Seeing Megan be exactly who Kennedy needed to stand up for her and also help guide her through all the feelings teen girls go through that her dad couldn't. I love STRONG BA heroine like Megan. Yes the story is about Chase and Megan but I love how Adriana writes the best family
characters. Lending to a laugh out loud humor and smack you in the head family dynamics!!

3.5 stars.
This was a cute and sweet romance that I liked, and had moments I loved but didn't overall love. I felt the insta-lust was a bit too much and it was repeated too often how hot they found the other person. I also felt that it skipped pretty fast from a fling to more without some crucial development moments.
As always, I enjoyed the family dynamics and banter, and the steamy scenes were fine, but felt like there could've been more development to this story and couple.
Thank you to Adriana and Candy Kane PR for an arc in exchange for an honest review.

Adriana Locke never disappoints me. This series is being re-released with new BEAUTIFUL covers, so I dove in to start reading and I’m SO GLAD I did!
I always love small town, found family vibe series, and that’s exactly what it is.
Chase is a grumpy single dad who needs help with his teenage daughter since his mother is taking a trip to see his sister and won’t be available to help. His mom helps by enlisting the help of her best friend’s daughter, Megan, who is recently out of work.
The second these two meet I knew I was going to be obsessed. Chase is the grumpiest man that has no issue telling you exactly what he’s thinking. And Megan doesn’t shy away. I loved their banter and their chemistry as off the charts!!
Is there a limit to how many times you highlight in an ebook? Because I swear I basically highlighted the whole dang book! So many amazing moments between Chase and Megan. Loved her friendship with Gavin and also how sweet she is with Kennedy. There were so many moments I was swooning!! And you absolutely know the spice was SPICY 😍
This was such an amazing start to the Peachwood Falls series. These Marshall Men are going to be SO FUN to read about!

I haven’t done an Adriana Locke book in a while, and I loved this one. My favorite genre, single dad romance

Megan is doing her mom a solid by agreeing to take over babysitting her mom's best friend's unruly teen granddaughter. It's not like she has a job or a life direction since she got laid off from what she thought was her dream job. But the small town of Peachwood Falls has more in store for her than she expected.
Her rental car breaks down and she accepts help from her grumpy and reluctant savior only to find out he's Chase, the very hot and very single dad of her new charge. They both agree that his daughter, Kennedy comes first but it doesn't take long for them to throw caution to the wind especially with all the hours they spend together alone in his house. But Megan is only here for the month until his mom comes back. Will she find what she's always been looking for, a true home, or will she stick to her original plan?
I love sunshine x grumpy, single dad and forced proximity, so I knew this one was going to be a good read. What I didn't expect was how much I would enjoy the relationship between Megan and Kennedy. I loved that Kennedy didn't look at Megan as an invader into her family unit and I loved how Megan gave Kennedy exactly what she needed when her dad couldn't see it. I want to specifically call out the scene with them in the principal's office because that was such a powerful and important moment. Kennedy needed to see that someone believed her and was in her corner. I loved the role she played in Chase's grovel too.
This is fantastic start to a new family series. Adriana has this gift for making us fall for these big families and giving our heroines the found family they never knew they needed. I can't wait to see more of Chase's brothers and see who will be my fave.
Thanks so much to Adriana for providing me with an early copy to review.

Adriana Locke has yet another hit with More Than I Could. I was so excited to get an ARC (and an audio ARC!!) from her for this book (a standalone in the Coming Home series from a group of authors). More Than I Could was a quick, easy, feel-good read featuring a single dad/nanny romance deserving of all 5 stars. Plus, the audio was phenomenal and great company for me on my long road trip. Thanks again to Adriana for both the ebook and audio ARC!
When Megan’s car breaks down on the side of the road, she doesn’t expect that the man who helps her out is the father of the 14-year-old girl she’s nannying for for a month as a favor to her mom. Chase is also not expecting the new nanny to be funny, attractive, and just a good human being. They agree to the situation as long as there’s no funny business happening between them but…. I think we all know how that’s going to work out. This book was so cheery and the relationship between Megan and Kennedy might be my favorite in this book. Megan was exactly what Kennedy needed as a mother figure during this time in her life (as a teenager, the horror). I also can’t forget to mention the chemistry between Megan and Chase was off the charts!
Adriana Locke is the queen of small town romances and I really hope that she keeps writing in this world because I would absolutely love for the rest of Chase’s siblings to get books.

ughhhh this was so cute, I loved it so much!
there's just something about Adriana Locke's small-town romances. Megan and Chase's relationship developed quickly, but it was believable and adorable. I really liked the supporting characters too; Kennedy was the quintessential relatable teen, and I can't wait for more stories with this family!
two of the tiniest criticisms I'll ever make:
1 - there are 26 letters in the alphabet, yet there were so many M names lol (Megan, Marshall, Maggie, Monica, Mallet, (Mom)), and all the other names were either K (Kramer, Kennedy, Kate) or C (Chase, Calista) or L (Luke, Lonnie). Gavin was the only one without a name buddy (I loved Gavin). it wasn't a huge issue, I just couldn't stop thinking about it once I noticed the pattern.
2 - this was just a little writing quirk (you can see I'm grasping at straws here if I'm picking out things like this): there were so many italics in this book (usually to emphasize a single word in a sentence). it didn't detract from my reading experience, but it did sometimes feel like we were being shown how to read, and it didn't feel necessary.
anywayyy, this was great! I'm super looking forward to the rest of the series :)

Small town heart with big personality. Locke dares to find the funny. With sassy characters, spicy chemistry and emotion that runs deep, More Than I Could makes it's presence known. Locke brings the flavor and Thom and Mitchell are the icing on the cake. A feel good heart warmer.
I chose to read this based on the single dad/nanny trope and it was exactly what I hoped for. Single dad Chase Marshall (come on with that name, all I thought of was Paw Patrol) is a bit grumpy and not too happy about the woman who came to help with his daughter. His biggest problem with her is his attraction to her and he knows it is a distraction from his priority. Megan is so fun and irresistible so of course things heat up between them! I actually really enjoyed how everything played out. The similarities between Megan and Chase’s daughter Kennedy was part of the best thing about the book. The way that Megan understood Kennedy and took her side and stood up for her had me way too excited. It was such beautiful writing. The banter was hilarious, the characters were fun and there was depth to the story. I know Adriana has said that this is a standalone but there is potential for the family to get stories but let me tell you, I will be IMPATIENTLY waiting for a story for both Calista and for Gavin. Come on Adriana!
