I really enjoyed this one!

Megan is at a crossroads in her life, professionally and personally. And she's a little guarded. Chase has been living in a standstill, not wanting to change his life too much. And he's a little guarded too.

Megan is watching his daughter while his parents are out of town. I just loved the relationships that grow out of this story. Especially the ones that grow that's not romantic! (The romance is great too, I promise, but I was really surprised and fell in love with the secondary characters!)

I'm really, really hoping we get some more of this family. I didn't even meet everyone and already I want their books!

I freaking loved this book, and I really hope the other siblings get their own books 🀞. Adriana Locke has a knack for writing interconnected family standalones, and she does it so well. Every time I pick up a book of hers, I know I'm going to be immersed into her small-town world.

This story is book 10 in the 'Coming Home' series. It features Chase and Megan in an inta-attraction meet-up that will have you needing more. Low and behold, she is going to be the one watching out for his daughter, and neither one has any idea. I honestly can't get enough of this type of storyline. It's probably one of my favorites.

More Than I Could is sexy, funny, and emotional. What more could you ask for? And when I say emotional. I mean it. It takes a lot for me to tear up, and I did, sad and happy tears. The steam is perfect, and the chemistry is blazing! Oh, and let's not forget the character growth was on point. This is a character-driven novel, so it's a must! Y'all go grab this one right now!

Happy Reading! ❀

Oh no. I cannot get on board with this.
1. I didn’t buy into their banter
2. I didn’t like that they admitted their feelings after 2 hours of knowing each other
3. Maybe because I’m a teacher but 2 school adults are treating a child like that? Why are we making teachers the enemy. We get enough shit as it is.
4. I found Megan to be a deeply insecure woman and the story just didn’t become believable for me
5. The way they fought and miscommunicated just screamed that they won’t make it
6. She was flirting with Gavin at the end? Gross.
7. The only reason she listened to him was because he proposed. Omg. No.
8. She doesn’t even say I love you until the epilogue
9. The epilogue does nothing to satisfy what she will do with her life in podunk Illinois.

I have loved other Adriana Locke’s books but I did not like this one.

What I did like? Kennedy. The description of the house. Tucker.

All her books make me crack up. The stories are similar to other authors, but her writing is just great. The banter and the jokes. So good

I'm fighting with myself cause, I loved this book, but, the lack of development makes impossible for me to give it more stars.

It's a small town romcom, both characters are lovely. The whole book is spicy and funny. But the book it's too short, I miss development, I miss a more than three weeks timeline, I miss past memories, and all. I feel like, it's a very good book, but it's too simple to analyze. Still, I enjoyed it a lot, and I giggle the whole book.

After 22 years working in the electric utility industry, I have a deep respect for line workers. I was so excited that Chase was one himself! And when I read that Megan had experience working for a nail polish company (and nail polish is my other hobby besides reading romance!) I was immediately IN! Chase and Megan had so much immediate chemistry, I was hooked instantly. Having a spirited teenage daughter myself, I related so much to Chase parenting his daughter Kennedy, and I love the bond Kennedy and Megan created. Author Adriana Locke created another family with so many siblings I want to know better- fingers crossed for more from this family!
