Oh my GOD. I truly cannot decide if I love Anna or Isla's book more. The noise that came out of my body when I read what happened at the end of chapter 30 though....ugh it was perfection and I wanted to cry. I relate to Isla the most out of the 3 girls, so I feel like I pick Isla's book as my favorite but my love for Anna's book is strong. I don't know. Ugh. So good. Read in under 24 hours, as expected.
I was getting a little worried there but it all turned out for the better! Such a cute easy read
I was happy to learn this one was set back in Paris. Very enjoyable, but Anna is still my fave. You didn't really see Isla and Josh fall in love -it was more like they were just instantly in love for some reason?? Kept wanting to tell them both to chill out a bit.
I wish I had read these when I was younger - my cynical older self finds it hard to believe all these friends are going to stay with their first loves.

From the "overall" part of my review. Full review here: http://prettylittlememoirs.blogspot.co.uk/2014/09/book-review-isla-and-happily-ever-after.html
Overall, anyone who doesn't own this series is missing out on something absolutely mesmerizing and awe-worthy. I couldn't put it down, and even if I had to, the story never stopped in my head. Isla's story is now my newfound favourite novel of this series, but also, maybe of all time in Contemporary YA lit. It blows the competition out of the water with the charismatic, real characters and plots to make your heart race. Anything less than 5 stars wouldn't be acceptable - this is THE book of the year!
Totally worth waiting for.

ARC Review
Ahhh so good!!! Stephanie Perkins is awesome and I adore all her books. Isla & Josh are adorable. I loved getting to see the others as well!

3⭐️ This was the last book in this series which followed Josh and Isla. I enjoyed most of the book because their relationship and all their special moments were very cute. My only issue with this book is that i could not connect with Isla at all. I feel like her character was really built around being in love with Josh and not being okay with him. The way she treated her friends and people around her was pretty shitty tbh. Maybe there is a reason for her actions and i might have missed that but it really bothered me. I guess i would recommend this series of you want a quick read.
I first read these books a little more than 6 years ago now. 6 years, but not much has changed. While I'm not quite as enthusiastically in love with them as I was then, because I was a tad crazed, this book and the other two in the series are ones that I always come back to. When I need a book that I know will captivate me and get me back into the groove of reading, this series is one of the first places I go. Are the main characters a little frustrating and bratty at times? Yes, they are. But so was Harry Potter. I would recommend these books to anyone who is looking for a quick pick-me-up that is extremely predictable yet pretty entertaining and doesn't mind just a little childishness now and then. I promise all 3 of the main guys are incredibly swoon-worthy.
Oh, and this one specifically was my favorite of the 3, so I extra recommend it!

*3.5 stars* This book was cute! Isla and Josh make for an adorable couple, but the reason I'm not giving this a higher rating is solely because of Isla. She drove me NUTS during ~certain~ parts in the book. For the sake of remaining spoiler-free, I won't go into detail about it, but I will say Isla needs to cut it out with the self-deprecation and just BE WITH JOSH! Thankfully, Josh was there being the lovable, artsy guy that he is so that I didn't feel the constant need to inflict harm upon Isla
