This book is cheesy and the storytelling is poor. BUT I gave it four stars because the information was so helpful. I really needed to hear it and have already found greater peace and greater results by beginning to implement it.

Choice Map is a good framework for leadership, but the book was unnecessarily long and repetitive. Everything could've been summarized in a paragraph

I liked it but it’s not a great book for audible. You want to have the printouts in front of you or access to the websites. Lot of repetition too.

This was a good book. it's '90s/early '00s style and subject matter Make it a little annoying to read. I felt like I was reading a book that takes place in the corporate world of the movie What Woman Want.

The material of the book is really good though!

Could have been an article. If you go to therapy or amhave basic common sense about working with people, there's not much here worth your time. But the simple challenge to be curious before judgement is a worthwhile lesson. So there you have it; now you can spend your time on something more interesting and helpful than this particular book.

The content is good but I really disliked the presentation. It was cheesy and the same information could’ve been presented in half the time without all the fluff.

One of those doofy business books where the dialogue is supposed to stand in for the author giving you information, but the information was pretty useful. A friend recommended this when I asked her for tips on how to switch from advice mode to coach mode, and the Judger/Learner stuff is spot on.

I'm amazed that how the author can write a book based on a one-page essay. There might be some truth in it but it just has been buried under nonsense.

This book is a great introduction to simple question-asking mindset shifts for better communication and collaboration.

I used to love the style of a story or parable to make a point, but I think I’ve just read too many of them and the trope is getting old on me. The first person narrative didn’t work for me either. For the audio version, a female narrator playing mostly male characters also doesn’t work well.

I think this book would be better to read rather than listen to. It has a great reference section at the back. I will buy a paper copy so I can go back to the good stuff rather than listening to it again on audiobook.

Still, I’m giving it 4 stars because it’s an easy-to-follow story with excellent learning points, especially for someone new to leadership or struggling with negative self-talk or frustration with coworkers.
