Did I need fluff to listen to right now in my life? Yes. This is that fluff. You get minor amounts of sexy talk and plenty of tropes so your brain doesn't have to think too hard. I liked it.

This really took me a bit to get into because it is written in the third person. I found at times it drug on and other times I was finding myself really enjoying it. The second book left on a really interesting cliff hanger, I am surprised at how curious I am to see what the next book has in store. The next book to be released some time this year but pre order is not available.Overall, 3/5 and 2/5 for spice

Maybe more 3.5 stars rounded up. Overall, I enjoyed the book and the ending left things in a very interesting place.
But, I feel like the book wasn’t done with editing? There were some sentences here and there that didn’t make sense, and some spots that definitely could have flowed better. Also, there were inconsistencies that should have been picked up in another round of editing (ex: Evalyn was sometimes spelled Evelyn). I get that the author probably wanted to get it out, but it definitely needed a little polishing.
I definitely will read the next book and look forward to it!
