DNF. I tried to give this book a good shot but really couldn’t get into it. I read the first book and though I found myself getting bored in some parts I did enjoy it. I may come back to this and give it another go. Who knows?!

Somehow this book was just as compelling in telling the rest of Oraya and Raihn’s story. Their “end” I thought was fitting and turned out better than expected. Broadbent’s work on the world of Nyaxia has been nothing short of addicting. I already am dreaming of the day the next book in this series is released, so I can hear more about the futures of Oraya and Raihn as well as other important characters in their universe!

I did however LOVE the continued world building, and I thought the conclusion was well played out. Was a huge Raihn fan. (yet again)
It's the second book in this genre with gods having a lot to do with the end which is interesting. And im enjoying the first book in the next duet already.

This book is really about me and Oraya mourning Vincent's death.
If you read the first book and thought, "I would like the exact same story told in a slightly different setting", then this is a great sequel. If you wanted any character growth look elsewhere because Oraya and Raihn are facing the same challenges in different fonts. But it was fine I suppose.
