One word......OBSSESSED!!!
Corinne Michaels is one of my favorite authors and this book did not disappoint. I devoured this book in just a few days. Phoebe and Asher's story was well written and they captivated me from the very beginning. They had great angst and banter between the spice between them was spicyyyyy. The mouth on Asher is quite dirty and I couldn't get enough of it.
I also like Corinne's inclusion of the hard of hearing and deaf community in this. I think she did a wonderful job incorporating the use of ASL in the story.
Corinne you absolutely nailed this one!

DNF 30% - I just could not get into the main characters. I didn’t like them together at all, and I didn’t care for the age gap. I think it ultimately comes down to the heroine made me cringe.
I did really like Asher and his daughter their dynamic was great but unfortunately not enough to get me to care about the rest of the book and also I found myself way more interested in the story between Asher, his daughter and his daughter’s mom. Hell I think I would’ve loved the book to be between them.

This book had me in all my feels. I never saw that twist at the end coming!!
Asher is a SWAT officer and also a single dad to Liv, who happens to be deaf. Phoebe is the daughter of his boss and she becomes Liv’s nanny. Phoebe happens to know ASL which is a key reason why Asher agreed for her to stay on as Liv’s nanny despite his many reservations.
Asher is a grumpy MMC who adores his daughter and Phoebe’s wit had me laughing. The relationship that Phoebe forms with Liv is beautiful as she really takes the time to connect with Liv on Liv’s level.
Asher’s evolvement throughout the book is remarkable to see. The emotional roller coaster Phoebe was on kept me engaged throughout the story. It wouldn’t be a Corinne Michaels masterpiece without me being in my feels.

I didn’t enjoy this one. I don’t like an age gap so it’s probably a me problem.
THE PLOT TWIST OMG…. I gasped so many times while reading this, I truly was not expecting some of these plot lines.
A single dad/nanny romance? Sign me up everytime! This was just so good. Asher is the perfect grumpy, yet sweet gentleman, hero. Marshmallow

This sat on my kindle from release day and I’m so glad I picked it up. This is an age gap, small town, single dad, nanny romance between Asher and Phoebe.
I loved the relationship between Phoebe and Asher’s daughter Olivia, even thought there was a hair cutting incident when Phoebe was babysitting for Olivia. Both bonded really quickly and I loved how they became so important to each other.
I loved Asher’s protectiveness of Phoebe who makes
mistakes but has the care of Olivia forefront in her mind. As they find themselves together a lot the attraction between them heats up and Asher increasingly finds it hard to resist Phoebe.
As their romance blossoms, as you expect from
Corrine Michaels the spicy scenes are great and their love for each other brings new beginnings.
I also loved the crossover with Melanie Harlow’s Cloverleigh Farms and the book was a great romance which I shouldn’t have put off.

ARC Review- Forbidden Hearts by Corinne Michaels
This was my first Corinne book but it certainly won’t be my last. I absolutely loved this book! The audio was fantastic and I can’t wait to read more from this series. The characters were amazing.
Asher was so swoony and was the epitome of a protector. He constantly said he wasn’t a relationship guy but time and time again he was there for Phoebe in every way she needed. And seeing Asher with his daughter? The sweetest. Phoebe was so strong, even if she didn’t always see it herself. I loved watching her relationship with Olivia grow. She was just what Olivia needed.
The chemistry between Asher and Phoebe was amazing and the mouth on Asher?
