A little magic, a little healing, and a whole lot of love. My favorite stories are those of family. Not just the one you are born with, but the one you make.

It's only because of the bitter that you fully appreciate the sweet.
This story wasn't as magical as others from Ms Webber. However, it was still enjoyable.

I like the magic that was incorporated in this story. The loon and the lake magic was easy to imagine it was real.

This reminded me a lot of a Sarah Addison Allen book and it was strangely similar to In the Company of Witches by Auralee Wallace that I just finished reading.

It's a sweet, sad story with a touch of magic. Centered around two daughters' relationship with their mother, it also delved into how the sisters dance around each other because both have made assumptions about the other. The ending though.....the loon. I loved it.

Lake magic. Life choices. Denied love. Pulled together in probably her best book yet!
