This one was better than the last one and made me run out to find #3.

The story continues. Lucas doesn't attend Evernight academy anymore, because he was expelled. Bianca becomes very good friend with Balthazar and he helps her visit Lucas time to time. Story gets new mystic creatures, which help Bianca to see what her parents done.

It's really good, better than first and I can't wait for 3rd book to be relased.

I'm not really fond of the whole vampire craze. I tried this series to see if I was wrong, and discovered that I wasn't. It was a decent read, but certainly not my favorite.

Pretty darn decent! Gray avoids the name-brand-dropping faux pas of most new YA writers, and manages to communicate a modicum of depth and meaning in the plot and a few elements (like deconstructing the dramatic flaws of Romeo & Juliet, and, consequently, teen fiction, including her own book) such as likable and memorable second-string players (Raquel, Vic, Balthazar, Ranulf, Dana, and even the requisite mean-girl Courtney)

Ok so I started reading this book because it was the closest book to me at the time and I just could not put it down. It kept me wondering and hopeful right along with Bianca and Lucas. This is the 2nd book in this series and I cant wait to read the 3rd book Hourglass.
