I may be too jaded for this sort of book right now. It just dripped with privilege and unearned optimism.

A good read, though could have been shorter became repetitive toward the end, still worth the read.

As always a self-help book is good to read every once in a while, if just to remind you to think more about how your life is going.
That said, I am not the target audience at this point in my life. This focuses on career pivoting and I'm happy with where I am right now. In fact, I'm not sure if this is a good book for anyone right now considering the COVID-19 stuff.
Things that were a little weird: Blake kept referring to the audience of the book as "impacters" in their organizations/the world/etc. Taking on a title like that just seems a bit haughty. I know I don't want to hang around the kind of people who self-identify as "impacters." Also, there was a reference to "honey holes" that was serious and not a sexual innuendo which kind of through me off. You have to be careful when you're writing professional books in the time of the Internet! ;)
This book might be more helpful at a different time in my life- I'm not at a pivot stage, but if you are, the exercises might be useful to you.

If you're unhappy about your career, but don't know what your next move should be, this book offers some structured thinking and useful exercises. It's scope covers everything from figuring out what's actually important for you to experimenting with different side gigs. What I didn't like is that the book doesn't cite any research and examples of pivots aren't super diverse.
