Sometimes light YA is what you need. This was a fun book. Great characters and the story just moves along. It’s a unique spin on Cinderella .

I really enjoyed this book. It was unlike anything I have ever read before. I never would have imagined Cinderella as a cyborg, and yet, it fits so well. I really liked the aspect of her being a cyborg because I always thought disney princesses were too perfect. They have unrealistic features, they sing about their troubles and don't do anything to help make them better, and they just wait for a prince to save them. I liked how in this book, cinder wasn't perfect, she didn't wait for a prince to save her, she saved herself. The wise words of Sirius Black say: “we must all make a choice between what is right and what is easy”. Cinder is not afraid to do what is right even if it is hard and that is what made me love the character. I think Marissa Meyer did a wonderful job making this character have these traits and that is one of the main reasons I loved this book. I don't have much negative feedback about this book. The one thing I can say is that the ending felt a bit rushed. I think Marissa Meyer should have taken a bit more time to divulge the ending because of the huge plot twist. I thought the plot twist was brilliant but I was so confused because everything was happening so fast I hardly caught it. I could go on and on about this book is. It was a wonderful story and I loved submerging myself into the world of Cinder!

Set in a dystopian future, Cinder is a cyborg, effectively owned by her stepmother, having no rights herself.

The world is not as we know it. Earth is on the brink of war with the Lunars - those that reside on the moon - and to make matters worse, a new plague has been running rampant amongst the Earthens.

Somehow, Cinder might be the key to an antidote, and along the way, she may be able to help Prince Kai prevent the war.

Ahhh this was so good! I’ve heard great things about this series, and even though it’s marketed for ages 9-12 it really didn’t feel like a YA book.

It was gritty, thought-provoking, suspenseful, and I thoroughly enjoyed it all. I love how sarcastic Cinder was - truly a girl after my own heart - and her relationship with Iko was sweet. Really hoping that Adri and Pearl get their comeuppance though; they are truly awful.

Since I went in blind (as per usual) I thought each book would be a standalone, but this one ends on somewhat of a cliffhanger so I was clearly wrong.

Looking forward to seeing how it all pans out!

I loved Cinder. I don't read a lot of books like this and although it took me a couple chapters to really get into it, I loved it!

La única razón por la cual no tiene 5☆ es porque deduje todo aproximadamente en la página 120, entonces cuando empezaron a revelar todo ya lo sabía pero es PERFECTO

I have had this book on my tbr for over 2 years. Here's the thing, I tend to like books recommended on booktok etc. more than books recommended by my parents, or parents friends. This book was an exception!! My mom's bff loaned this series to me over 2 years ago, and I only just read the seccond one. I love, love, LOVED this book, which is rare considering it was recommended by an adult. I love this book, and highly recommend!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The ending gave me chills even and I can't wait to read the next book in the series! I'm seriously rooting for Cinder and Kai.
