Atomic Habits: An Easy and Proven Way to Build Good Habits and Break Bad Ones by James Clear

This is a solid 5 stars for me. Even though I have already studied a lot of the experiments that Clear mentions, he frames them in a way that is simple, straightforward, and supports his arguments. I hope to implement his systems going forward but either way, as an extended persuasive essay on the best way to form habits, I am thoroughly convinced that Clear knows what he is talking about.

I listened on Audiobook and it was boring. I tried really hard but nothing was really sinking in to my brain. He repeated a lot of the steps but also used words that were not simple and it was over complicated

DNF
︵‿︵‿୨♡୧‿︵‿︵
I cannot believe this is my first dnf of the year. Keeping in mind that I don't like this type of book at all, it is definitely not a bad book.
If you are looking for a self-help book that truly makes sense in what it explains and contains great research behind what it says, this is the book for you.
Just not my cup of tea.

This books has so many helpful insights and the concepts are explained in a way that’s very easy to understand. It’s helped reframe a lot of issues I struggle with and since reading this book I’ve been more on track with my goals and am creating healthier habits more consistently.
I read it on my e-reader and am planning once a year to reread my highlighted sections. If you’re someone who struggles with bad habits or motivation I definitely would recommend this book.
