Finally finished this trilogy! Overall a 3.5 stars series. I enjoyed the first book the most. The second was a short abrupt bridge. And the third was a little drawn out but enjoyable and spicy

I love Dacre with all my heart. I kind of wish we got more in the fighting sequence and Verena defeating her father. Overall this was an easy romantasy read to follow and I think a good series to start off with bc there’s not too much world building and not too many side characters to follow. The first book in this series will always be my fave. The tension of enemies to lovers between Verena and Dacre was so good in that first book. I would love to see a spin off book of wren and Kai’s story 😍

ughhhhhh I wanted to love this soooo badly and I was tossing up between 3 and 4 stars.... the first 2 were so fucking good and then this just did not go where I wanted it. I felt the writing was repetitive, the story dragged yet at the same time felt rushed.... idk I'm let down.
What saved it though was Dacres totally hard-core and over the top alpha male energy, totally digged it!!!!
I mean there was good character development as well, like Verena becoming who she was meant to be and all that but it still just didn't quite do it for me.
