This book already had me at the incredible lesbian romance brewing throughout the book and the exciting and fantastical story to go along with it was just the cherry on top. This is the type of book you read all at once because you can’t put it down and it feels like there’s always something just around the corner. I finished reading the book just minutes ago but I’m already planning how I’m going to get my hands on the next one. I had so much fun reading this and I can’t wait for the adventure to continue!

Didn’t expect to get this hooked on the story, wow. I absolutely love that this book didn’t just focus on the romance, the plot was brilliant.

oh my god

«Crier comprendió que el dolor no es finito, no hay limites para un dolor sin herida.»

my first sapphic book everyone cheered!!! i really liked this book, even though the plot was lacking sometimes. it left a lot of room for the characters to develop and that's where i found the enjoyment in it. can't wait to read the sequel!

I wanted to like this so badly. The idea and the premise sounded right up my alley and I was sure I would love it.

The idea was great but the execution felt so clunky. The dialogue felt unnatural, the motives and actions of most of the characters felt... weird and forced? Crier and Ayla's thoughts would be explored for pages and pages at a time, to the point that it got boring, and even having absorbed all their thoughts, I still didn't feel sympathy or understanding for most of their actions. The pacing felt off everywhere, the actions leading in to the drama made no sense to me. I constantly felt "but why??" or "huh??" going through my brain.

Maybe it was just me and I had a problem immersing in to the text for some reason. Hoping this was just a badly placed foothold for a fantastic 2nd book.
