This book had me hooked.
Queen of Vengeance is exactly the kind of romance I love — angsty, sharp, and a little messy in the best way. Lux is such a badass, seriously. She’s fierce, driven, and doesn’t back down from anything. And Slate? God, he’s the definition of the grumpy, ride-or-die hero. The way he’s obsessed with her? Yeah, I ate that up.
Their chemistry was explosive. The banter, the tension, the slow unraveling of feelings — it all worked so well. I loved how different they were on paper — rich socialite meets rough-edged biker — but once they were thrown together, the push and pull was addictive.
The plot kept me engaged, the pacing was tight, and the darker themes added depth without feeling too heavy. I really liked how the emotional moments hit hard but didn’t overpower the romance.
Lux and Slate together? Absolute fire. I need more of this world and these vibes.
Huge thanks to Jessica Jude for the ARC — already counting down to the next book!

An intense “how will she find out” enemies to lovers with twists and turns for days! I loved Lux and Slate’s relationship, but arguably I loved Lux and Briar’s more. While the biggest twist wasn’t exactly unknown throughout the story, the need to know how drove my interest.

Firstly, I want to start off by saying thank you very much to Jessica for the ARC copy I received.
I really enjoyed this book. My favourite parts of the book were:
- The romance between Lux and Slate!!
- Chronic illness representation!! Jessica does this so well. It’s rare to see in books and I was really impressed. Especially the part where Slate says the doctors just think she’s making it up. We love the representation

I adore Slate so much! He was just amazing, the plot twist was so well done as well. I did have a hunch about it but I wasn’t 100% about it and when I found out I had to put the book down and look at the invisible camera and then immediately pick it back up!
I honestly didn’t want this book to end and now I need more!!
Slate and Lux had a world wind romance, but the love they had for each other was something else. I adored them - at first Lux annoyed me but as the book went on I grew to love her more and more, then at the end she was an amazing character (the character development was on point). I want more about some of the side characters and want to know more about them. Slate is honestly an amazing person trying to do everything he can for those around him, even when it hurts himself!
I enjoyed Jessica Judes writing style and the book (as well as the way it was written) drew me in and I couldn't put it down! After finishing I can say that I didnt know what else to read!

This took me a few chapters to get into, but I’m glad I kept going.
Lux and Slate come from different worlds and couldn’t be more opposite if you tried.
Lux lives a high-end life as a socialite and media influencer. She has never wanted for anything… except loving, non-judgemental parents and a brother that doesn’t live on the dark side.
Slate lives in the darkness, caring for his sick sister while trying to make ends meet to pay for her medical bills, whether it be legal or not.
When the two clash, what ensues is chaos!
But is the connection they feel enough to overcome everything else.
There are quite a few triggers, so please read the warnings before diving in.

What a book! I’ve been waiting for this since I got picked to be on the ARC team and started reading as soon as I received it! I devoured it, read it every chance I got and finished it within 24 hours, the plot twist had my jaw hitting the floor! I loved the characters, I loved Slade, who doesn’t love a bad boy? His love for Lux and the relationship with his sister
I received an ARC of this book and devoured it one day! Lux was such a multi-faceted FMC and I love that she wasn’t perfect. She put up a facade that everything was perfect, but underneath it, she was just a scared, lonely girl. Seeing her grow into her strength and admit her wrongs throughout the book was amazing.
And Slate! He was so sweet with Lux and became her safe person. Even though they were from different worlds, they quickly set aside their prejudices, which paved the way for their relationship to deepen. Slate quickly made his way up to being one of the sweetest book boyfriends! The

✨ ARC Review ✨
Queen of Vengeance by Jessica Jude
Thank you the author for providing me with an advance copy of this book!
This is the second book in the Hand of Revenge series and while it can be read as a standalone, I recommend reading the first book (Ace of Betrayal) to get to know the world and some of the characters.
It has all of the spice and drama you would expect from a rich-girl-meets-bad-boy book, but underneath all of that glam and grit is a story about family and love and pain that hit way harder than I expected.
I'll be real, I didn't click with the Lux (FMC) at first. She gave off bratty, spoiled Gen Z energy. And as a crusty old millennial, that whole world felt hard to relate to...BUT, that's kind of the point.
These characters wear masks and once those start coming off? You learn that she's layered, hurting, and trying to protect what she loves. That's when I was in.
And the MMC, Slate? Straight-up tattooed mess with a wrench and a hidden soft side. Their initial meeting didn't work out well, but when they meet again? Their chemistry and connection is
