So I admit that I dnf-ed this book and pretty early on too. After reading the blurb and Val's review, I thought that I was going to at least like this book, but I really wasn't feeling it. There seemed to be no real attraction between Charlotte and Spencer and their conversation during the dinner was really boring. At this point, I was deciding whether to power on and give the book another shot in the hopes that it would get better, but after reading Tianna's review I realised that this books just wasn't for me. It's a damn shame too.

Okay, this book was much better than previous
I don’t really like that instant kind of love, but they were really sweet together
A shocker moment, that is not Spencer who was wrong most of the time, but Lottie
I like her, but her behavior almost always was really childish
By the way, I like Spencer a lot, there was a huge character development
Epilogue was really adorable

Who knew that Spencer Jones, a promiscuous, billionaire, and playboy could also be the kind-hearted and romantic man you can find? His determination to fight tooth and nail against the Prescott men to keep Charlotte Prescott with him, kept me smiling all the time. He knows how to weave through the obstacles to get what he wants for his love is truly admirable.
The twist towards the ending was not a surprise for me at all. Understanding the nature of how William's wife operates with her adultering, was predictable. I can't help but hurt more for Spencer towards the end. While hurting, he still tries to fight and fix their relationship and grovels as hard as he can to win back Charlotte... until that letter which he received on his birthday. That was heartbreaking. Yeah, I'm Team Spencer during that moment. To me, Charlotte wasn't strong enough to fight for them. I was hoping that she could at least give him the time to see him in person even if she wants to break up with him on his birthday. Blaming the wrong timing and everything of the arrival of the letter, I was so annoyed at her that I can't help to think that she deserves Spencer's cold shoulder and not agreeing to marry her immediately after getting back together. I would do the same thing too, if I were him.
Overall, this book is a good read. It's funny, full of angst, steam, some heartbreaking moments and a satisfying HEA.

Hmmm I neither loved it or hated this book.
It felt like Spencer’s way of living before he met Charlotte completely changed overnight and for me that just felt unrealistic.
The steamy scenes were okay. Nothing too exciting. I feel like after Mr. Masters this book just couldn’t match up to it.
As well as that ending? It felt rushed. I know this is fiction but even all the events taking place seemed a little far fetched.
Overall an alright book to read before bed.

Holy Mr. Swoonworthy Spencer! I could not put this book down! Loved the characters and the storyline was different. Can't wait for the next book!

It was a fun book to read- Spencer’s character was so charming and witty. He really carried this book. There were few characters that could have more impact on the book but did not and I hope I see them in future books.
