This is book 2 in the Cage Family series and it features Weston and Isabella.  These two had a whirlwind, young love until his life completely changed when his parents passed away.  He was left raising his 2 young sisters and college aged brother.  He left her with no explanation and a goodbye note and hasn’t seen her for 8 years…until now.  The fire still burns between them but so much has happened in the 8 years they’ve been apart.

This is a fantastic second chance romance in an amazing series!  I love ALL the Cages in both families!  It really is a small world as far as the two merging Cage families are concerned.  I can’t wait for more!

Carrie Ann Ryan has once again made me believe that second chances can happen in An Unexpected Everything.
The reason for a break-up isn't always black and white, sometimes there is more to the story than you realise.
All it takes is a retreat to the lake to get away from potential danger where you run into the man who broke both your heart and his heart all of those years ago when he uproots his life in the face of tragedy.

I couldn’t wait to see what the past between Weston and Isabella was with the end of the last book, and it was sooo good! The Cage family has so many secrets so it doesn’t surprise me that Isabella had her own. I adored Weston’s siblings and the small town of Cage Lake. The way all the Cage siblings are coming together and learning each other is so much fun to watch. I can’t wait to find out more about all of them.

4.5 Stars...
An Unexpected Everything is the second book in the Cage Family series. It is a small town, second chance, single parent romance.
Weston and Isabella's story was a very enjoyable read. You get off the charts chemistry, steam, plenty of drama and all the feels. I absolutely love the Cage family and of course the close family dynamic.

Teddy Hamilton and Emma Wilder did a fabulous job bringing these characters and this story to life.

I would recommend anything that Carrie Ann Ryan writes and this one is no exception. I have loved following the Cage-Dixons and the blending of the families. At first it was because they had to but now they have a genuine love for each other and the family is growing.

In this one, it's Isabella's turn to find the love of her life...again. She had Weston before but out of the blue he just left. Now she has to figure out if she can forgive even if she can't forget.

Weston made the hardest decision of his life when he left Isabella but his siblings needed him when his parents unexpectedly passed in car accident.  Now that the kids are grown, and oh how that hurts for him to even think about, he needs to figure out what he wants now. Could what he truly wants be standing right in front of him...again.

It's an amazing story and I loved reading it. Definitely recommend it.

Absolutely love this family dynamic that is between all the people involved in this horrible family secret with the father fathering two families and what that entails and what comes of their relationship and developing brother and sister relationship between the extended family members.
Really love Weston back story of staying and looking after his family but absolutely love Weston and Isabella reuniting. Absolutely love Carrie Ann Ryan stories would recommend any of her genres, especially the Redwood pack.

I’m beginning to think I need a chart of everyone in the CAR universe, and where they all fit.
Thankfully I remember Isabella as she had a protective streak a mile wide for her OG siblings. She was almost abrasive which is why I was drawn to her in this book. We got to see a vulnerable side to her, a side that Weston brought out, but also her older Cage brothers did too.
I really enjoyed her story and the way she changed into a small town girl. Weston was a perfect foil for her. He was kind, protective and loyal. Even the fact that he had left her years earlier had a good reason. I loved his twin sisters. They gave a shot of laughter to the book. I hope we see more of them somewhere down the line.
So far, two books in, and I’m loving the Cage family.

Thank you to Carrie Ann Ryan for the arc and this is my honest review.

This is the latest book in The Cage Family series by the author and it can be read as a standalone, since everything you need to know if covered in the story. There is a HEA.

I loved this story right from the start. Isabella is used to being the hard, practical, protective sibling that to be the one taken care of is a change. I loved how the story progressed with the characters being surprised that life has brought them back together. There is a whole book full of wonderful characters and I hope that we get to have stories for all of them.
