This is exactly what I needed to help get me back into physically reading. A swoon-worthy, dirty talking cowboy with a sassy, loving and independent heroine with an adorable 5 year old. Ann had me hooked from the first chapter.

After the passing of Caleb’s mother, Jensen learns he has a son, who’s 5, from a one night stand. Jensen steps into the role like he was born for it, he immediately goes to Chicago to get his son. Caleb is traumatized and isn’t speaking so Jensen’s second mama invited them to come back home where he has all the help to adjust to being a father and helping Caleb heal. So off to Bluebell, Montana, where Jensen hasn’t been in over a decade.

Briar is Mama Julie’s adopted daughter who is housing Caleb and Jensen for the summer. Briar is a sassy, independent woman who has the heart of gold. The connection between Briar and Caleb is instant and it is soo heartwarming. Briar is exactly what Jensen and Caleb needed in their lives. Little by little you could see Caleb coming out of his shell and trusting Jensen and Briar.

Watching Jensen and Caleb adjust to their new lives and new normal was sweet and emotional. Going from a single guy to a single dad in a blink of an eye wasn’t easy. Jensen took on the roll head on and made sure he did whatever it takes to make Caleb feel safe, loved and cared for. Watching their relationship grow was sweet. Jensen was patient, calm and wanted to learn everything he couldn’t support Caleb.

The connection between Jensen and Briar was electric. From the very beginning you could see how they were going to be there for each other in whatever capacity. The tension between them could be cut with a knife. I loved watching them fall in love slowly with each other. They helped each other heal from their pasts and realize they deserve to be happy. Don’t get me started on the banter back and forth 🥵 and Jensens bedroom talk 🫠. The side characters were amazing. I can’t wait for the rest of the series.

Single Dad, Nanny, Brother's best friend, Age Gap??!? Wrangled Love WAS AMAZING! This was the first book I have read by Ann Einerson, and it will not be my last. OBSESSED with the Jensen and Briar and of course Jensen's son Caleb. So many great moments. I absolutely fell in love with this town and all of the side characters. I cannot wait for the rest of this series, and i will be going through her backlist!!!

Giddy up, y'all- cause Ann Einerson basically is writing all my catnip tropes in Wrangled Love. Single dad (with a twist), brother's best friend, age gap, and nanny romance?! It's all the forbidden deliciousness I crave yet wrapped up in a sugar sweet, low angst, small town charm happy bow. It's all the quick and easy feel good endearingness you'd expect from Ann, just now with the cowboy flair. Same heartfelt love story, charming characters, and just the right balance of heart and heat. Yee-haw.

I love a single dad- and I especially love a story with a twist, here with Jenson who finds out he's a dad. Of a 5 year old boy. Now a solo parent since the mother of the son he didn't know he had has passed away. He's a workaholic NYC tech guy, but he doesn't hesitate to turn his life upside for his son, moving back home to Bluebell, to give his son the support and focus he needs while he's grieving his mom and getting to know his new father, now guardian. Gah, poor little guy. It just tugs on the heart strings. Now Jensen's back at Silver Saddle Ranch reconnecting with  his found family and friends, including Briar, his best friend's sister, who is now ALL grown up and irresistible. And his new nanny.

This one is just all sugary sweet, clouds and feel good warm hugs.  Brian and Jensen are both lovable characters, have great and sincere chemistry, and are so cute together. They have so many sweet and vulnerable moments, but also some great banter too. And Jensen is DELICIOUS in the bedroom. I love a city man turned cowboy again with a dirty mouth. The tension builds beautifully thanks to Jensen being so out of water with his new kiddo and the forced proximity.

And I also adored Caleb, Jensen's son. This story is equal parts his journey of finding hew new family and healing his broken little heart. There are so many heart-tugging moments big and small, and Jensen and Briar are both so great with him. Just too stinking cute.

I can't wait for more in Silver Saddle Ranch! (and I also hope we get this on audio)

No dramatic paternity denial, no meltdown—just immediate dad mode the second he finds out he has a five year old son. We love a responsible MMC.

So off Jensen goes from NYC to small town Montana (cue cowboy boots and emotional growth), bringing his silent and grieving son Caleb along for the ride. They move in with Briar, aka his best friend’s sister, aka the woman he absolutely should not fall for. She becomes Caleb’s nanny, and suddenly we’ve got found family, emotional healing, a slow burn romance, and a goat named Ziggy. Yes, a goat. Honestly, Ziggy deserves his own novella.

Jensen and Briar have amazing chemistry, hilarious banter, and the kind of emotional tension that makes you yell “JUST KISS ALREADY” at your Kindle. Caleb was written so sweetly and realistically—quiet, grieving, but never overly dramatic. And when he started to open up? Cue the waterworks.

Yes, the characters repeated their inner monologues a bit too much, and if I had a dollar for every mention of Wrangler jeans, I’d be able to buy the ranch. But honestly? I didn’t even care. The vibes were too good. I laughed, I cried, and may have started looking at farm houses.

A warm, funny, feel-good start to a new series. I’m already packing my emotional bags for books about Briar’s brothers. Saddle up.

It got a little slow towards the end, but I love how honest they were with each other and that there was no third act breakup
