 ⭐️ARC Review⭐️

This cowboy romance leans into all the cozy small-town charm you’d expect—low angst, sweet connections, and definite Hallmark movie vibes. It’s not a quick read, but it is an easy one. The story is filled with heartwarming moments, a tight-knit friend group (the girl gang chat is a highlight!), and even a fainting goat that steals the show.

As someone who loves cowboy and small-town romances and usually breezes through them in a day, this one took me about a week. The pacing is noticeably slow, with a lot of internal reflection and repetition meant to build character depth. At times, it felt more wordy than impactful.

The main characters come from challenging backgrounds—absent parents, foster care—but their adult personalities don’t fully reflect the long-term effects of those experiences. That’s not necessarily a flaw, but it does make the emotional arcs feel a bit more surface-level. Then again, this book clearly aims to be a feel-good read, not a deep psychological study.

Overall, I enjoyed the story and characters, but it didn’t quite stand out in a genre I love. Still, if you’re in the mood for something gentle and heartwarming, this could be a great comfort read.

This story follows Jenson, who runs a highly successful tech company in New York. But his world is turned upside down when he discovers he’s the father of a five-year-old boy. Now, he’s returning to his hometown—the place he once ran from. There’s one family that always treated him like one of their own, and now he’s staying at their Silver Saddle Ranch for the summer. He moves into a cottage with his best friend’s younger sister—the girl he hasn’t seen in ten years. The stay is only meant to last the summer… but could this trip bring him back to his roots for good?

This was a cute story—I loved the found family dynamic. It was also great to see Dawson, a lawyer from Ann’s other series Aspen Grove, make an appearance.

The story starts with Jenson, who, needing support with Caleb, decides to return to his hometown and stay on the ranch—a decision that turns out to be the best one for Caleb’s grief and healing. Briar was all in from the beginning, eager to help both Jenson and Caleb. She was so good to them and helped Jenson realize what a true home could feel like. The dates, sneaking around and the banter between Jenson and Briar was fantastic.

In New York, he had just been working and coming home to an empty house, but going back home gave him a renewed sense of purpose and clarity about what he truly wanted.

It was just an enjoyable story overall, and the spice was great!

I wasn't sure that I was going to like a cowboy romance for a couple of reasons :

1. I'm from Oklahoma and went to college with a bunch of cowboys
2. I read a different cowboy romance and it didn't really do it for me
Boy was I wrong! Apparently I do like cowboy romances. I'm here for the southern drawls,  cowboy boots, sweet tea, cute farm animals, and rugged cowboys.

This is book does cover some tough topics, so make sure to read your trigger warnings. However, I thought they were all handled accurately and with care. I loved watching Jensen step into his role as a new dad and seeing how he navigated all of the twists and turns. I married a single dad, so even though it's not over of my favorite tropes I do have a soft spot for them. 😉

Briar was the sweetest soul, and her friend group was so fun. The text chains were hilarious, and made me want to be part of their friend group. The somewhat slow burn between Briar and Jensen have this book some great tension, and the bond Briar and Caleb shared was touching. I loved all of the different relationships and connections in this book. It really was about more than just Briar and Jensen.

I thought this book had the perfect amount of spice. Not too spicy, but definitely not sweet. There is a good chance this book will get you in your feels. There are quite a few touching moments . bit didn't make me cry, but I could see how it might be a possibility for one. It definitely had me sighing, kicking my heels, and swooning.

When you’re brother’s best friend and his son move back to the ranch for the summer and will be living in your cottage, that’s no big deal, right?

Wrangled love is a sweet, emotional story that follows Jensen and Caleb as they navigate loss and learn how to have a relationship and Briar, who they will be living with at Silver Saddle Ranch.

From the perspective of looking at Jensen and Caleb’s part of the story, Einerson paints a picture of helping someone heal after a great loss. Reading through the story as Jensen gets to know his son and Caleb works through his grief with the help Jensen, Briar, and the Silver Saddle Ranch crew is beautiful.

Looking at the other piece of the story that follows Jensen and Briar as they navigate helping Caleb and realize their own feelings for one another is everything you could ask for in a story. From sassy banter to sweet interactions and steamy moments, Jensen and Briar will have you laughing and swooning.

The rest of the Silver Saddle Crew, which includes Briar’s best friends,  adds the found family and support that a story needs to be complete. This includes the addition of some truly ridiculous moments that made me laugh. I can’t wait to read the rest of this series to see what happens and am making my guesses as to what comes next.

Welcome to Silver Saddle Ranch! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

This was all fine and good but i take major issue with the bard scene after jensen gets done working the hay. that man needs a shower. please be so for real with me.

Wrangled Love is a real beauty. Its charm is its heart which is so pure. Found family teamed with endless love and acceptance makes for a beautiful story and a truly enjoyable read that I didn’t want to end.

The storyline itself is somewhat predictable, but the characters make this story. Their hearts and their gifts for giving and compassion mean that there is not a single person in this book that could be considered a villain. There is so much love in these pages and yet it all felt realistic, like we too could live in a world with this much care and love if we only opened our hearts and let people in. Bluebell, Montana is an idyllic town, but it isn't a fantasy. Be more Bluebell.

Caleb’s story is gorgeous. Seeing his father accept him so quickly, without doubt or hesitation, was incredible. The only thing that could have made it better was knowing that Amelia could see the love they share.

I love Ann’s books, and this one might have been my favorite of them all. It had me giggling, swooning, and crying. I absolutely adored sweet Caleb and the relationship he had with Jensen and Briar. That storyline was almost my favorite of the whole book. I did love Jensen and Briar as well. They were so sweet and perfect together. This book was a fun and perfect read for summer time. I definitely recommend it!
