4 Adorable & Funny Stars!!
“He is an extremely attractive man. He’s the man you don’t believe exists until you actually meet him in real life and practically swallow your tongue the minute they make eye contact.”
“I can see the uncertainty in your eyes, the wariness. I don’t want you jumping into this with concerns about what we could be. So, I will wait. I’ve been waiting, what’s a little more time?” “This is far from over, Jules. Get out your pros and cons list, because you’re going to need it. I want us, Jules. Together. I’m not just talking one date. I. Want. Us. Go through your observations of my character, of my strengths, of my weaknessess, and tally them into columns if you need to. This time though, I won’t run with my tail between my legs. This time I’ll stay close, Jules. Because there is no one else I want to be with. It’s you.”
“Your beautiful head has prevented your heart from beating to its full potential. Let your heart beat…for me.”
The Secret to Dating Your Best Friend’s Sister is just the romantic comedy that the doctor has ordered. It’s smart. It’s funny. It’s well written and will have you laughing your butt off. This story hits all the marks and leave you in stitches from laughing so much!
The Secret to Dating Your Best Friend’s Sister is a total fun read. Bram & Julia couldn’t have been more opposite if they tried. While Bram may have grown up since his college frat days, he’s still a frat boy at heart. You can take the boy out of the frat, but you can’t take the frat out of the boy. He’s never been serious about girls, but that’s because the one he’s always wanted doesn’t look at him that way….That is until one lost bet throws these two opposites together. Bram has a plan to win the girl and will stop at nothing to win over Julia.
Julia and Bram were a lot of fun together. I loved their chemistry and the ease of how they were together. I loved their banter and I loved how despite Julia’s shyness, she dished it out just as good as she got it. And while Bram might seem like he’s still a frat boy player, there is so much more to him than meets the eye. I loved seeing the sweeter side of him. The side that will do anything to win over the forever girl and won’t stop until he gets what he wants. Together these two really shouldn’t have worked, but somehow they just made it work. Once Julia could look past what she thought she knew of Bram, all bets were off.
The Secret to Dating Your Best Friend’s Sister was a terrific romantic comedy. It was an easy and fun read. I loved spending my day getting to know Julia & Bram. Their story was sweet with just the right amount of funny. Add in some serious swoon and steamy good times and you’ve got yourself a truly entertaining read.

What a great book to end the year with. I hands down loved this one, I can not stop smiling. Omg Bram is the man! The man I tell ya! I just can’t get over him. Seriously, I’m thinking he’s my favorite male character of hers that she’s ever written. I also loved the hardcore bromance he has with his bestie, Rath. God sooooo many cute and funny moments between those two. I loved that Julia is all nerdy and a deep thinker. There’s no spur of the moment for that gal. The banter between her and Bram is so fun, so much entertainment packed in here! Gah, I’m just so happy that I ended my year with this one. It’s books like this is why I love to read!

Bram is so IN LOVE!! And it's the thing. I love when I man is so in love. I love when we get that POV. You will fall in love with Bram.
Julia is great too and I get her hesitation, but damn does Bram love her.

I was constantly smiling while reading this book
Every moment, that I think will shot like Chechov gun didn’t shot:
- like, I was thinking that the bet thing will not be revealed until the end - no
- brother will be mad - no
- she will see him with Carly and will be confused - no
- only the test thing erupted
I freaking love that he falls first and falls so hard, I just have this goofy smile for the whole book

Brahm has been in love with his best friend's sister for years. Since they met in college, he has been waiting for the right chance to make his move and now's the time. Julia has spent a decade perfecting her her dating business based on personality and compatibility, but when Brahm comes in as a client, she's thrown by his results and charm.
I'm always a huge fan of He Falls First story lines, and I do love the brother's best friend trope, but yikes. This had potential for a very funny bromance series like the Vancouver Agitators, but Brahm lost his charm by being uncomfortably overtly sexual in the very first interaction. If he would've eased into it, I'd feel differently about him but it made him come across as cold and shallow, as opposed to some kind of exciting sex god. Honestly I was more interested in Julia's profiling than most of the interactions so I'd give this a "meh" as far as Meghan Quinn books go.

The intro didn’t really catch my attention, a lot of awkward cursing (I’m here for a good F-bomb, but the d-word is strewn about like confetti for no reason), and no instant chemistry between the leads. Just not feeling this one.

I always enjoy a Meghan Quinn book and this one did not disappoint in the least. It was a fun, quick read and had me laughing out loud and swooning all at this same time. I enjoyed every moment of Jules and Bram’s story. The banter between them was fun.
I did wish for more moments with Bram and Rath! I wanted to see more of their bromance. I loved the little moments when they were together. Rath is Julia’s older brother and Bram’s best friend.
This is a sweet, easy read and will put a smile on your face.

I loved this book. It was so funny and not at all what I was expecting. The one liners were absolutely hilarious. I still laugh thinking about some of them.

I was going to give this book three stars. It wasn't amazing, but it wasn't terrible. Just an okay read, even if it had too many sexual thoughts for a book that isn't erotica. But then the third act conflict happened (mind you, in the last 10% of the book) and it was the dumbest thing. I think the author wrote herself on a corner with the lack of actual problems that could have been thrown at them and went with the only thing she could think of. And it sucked.
I picked up this book because its whole thing was that the ML was chasing the FL and, for the most part, I enjoyed it. But in the end, after their fight, he was still kind of chasing her, and I just wanted to slap some sense and self-respect into him. Sure, it is amazing when a LI fights for the relationship, but he wasn't the one that should have been fighting (even more because the FL, the one that was in the wrong, didn't do anything more than saying sorry).
Besides that, not much to add. The book had a "not like other girls" thing going on, which was annoying, but not terrible. It was also very sexual, with over four sex scenes back-to-back, which was tiring. The characters were okay. The prose was nothing to write home about.
All in all, it was a romance book. Not the worst thing I've read in my life, but there are better books out there for all the tropes in the book, so I'd suggest you to check them out instead.
