If I had to say one thing about this book it is that it has the best "action speaks louder than words" as a way of declaring undying love.

Dominik and Willow have a "sex is fun" relationship. Neither want more than fun between the sheets. Neither have the time or desire to have more than a little fun.

He is a self made billionaire and owner of the Arizona Vengeance. She is a photojournalist that is always game for an adventure and the sister of Dax, player for the Arizona Vengeance. We all know the heart wants what the heart wants. Denial won't stop it. Running won't stop. But the chase and the acceptance makes for a great love story.

Talk about keeping me riveted, there is just something about this particular book and chemistry between characters that had me hooked from the very beginning. Dominik is the owner of the Arizona Vengeance hockey team, and he is not only rich, but extremely arrogant. He always gets what he wants and what he want's is Willow Monohan. Willow is a strong, independent woman, attracted to Dominik but not looking to be involved. But does this stop him? First off, the characters are amazing. Dominik is that mixture of pure arrogance and vulnerability. I absolutely loved his complexity. Willow is so smart and self-sufficient that she gives off that air of not needing anyone. But you can just feel the chemistry. The banter is funny, their passion high and their relationship rocky! But does that stop Dominik? And why is Willow so skittish? Will he win her over? Add in the family of players that we have gotten to know from Dax to Tacker and we have advice and camaraderie just filling us up with all the feels. It's a great listen, I think my favorite of the series.

As always, Sawyer Bennett has her pulse on the best narrators for her characters. Casting Christian Fox and Erin Mallon could not have been better. Fox just falls into the part of Dominik, with all the emotions this man has. He lets us feel the arrogance, and turns and gives us the mushy heart! Love it! Mallon too, finds that center of Willow. The scared of love girl, the career minded adrenaline junkie and lets us in with her fabulous narration. It's a dream team!

I haven’t read any of the other books in this series yet but I didn’t like the beginning of this book. I might try reading the others at a later date.

I was waiting for Dominik's book. I was slightly disappointed. I liked Willow more in the previous book than I did in this one.

I thought Willow was a bit selfish. I understood her work being her passion but I thought her excuse for keeping the danger secret was lame. She rea!my didn't do it out of love for her family. She did it so she wouldn't have to deal with their concerns or opinions about what she was doing.

Dominik saw or felt something in Willow that took him beyond the physical. I didn't get the feeling that he wanted to win her because she was so standoffish. I got the feeling he felt like he found someone or something that had been missing in his life.

I did enjoy the gestures from Dominik to all of his players, their families, and the boys home. In terms of my favorite of the series, I would have to go with Tacker.

One of the sweetest billionaires I’ve read about

Dominick leads a life of routine and habit, never letting a woman interfere. Until Willow. But Willow has had her heart broken and doesn’t intend on putting it in that position again. Them fighting to keep their relationship casual and their hearts safe drives this angsty sports read. Loved this sexy emotional story.

We have all lusted after the players and now we can drool over the hot, alpha owner of the Arizona Vengeance Hockey Team - Dominik Carlson. Dominik and Willow Monahan - yes - the baby sister of one of Dominik's key players - decide that their time spent together between the sheets is all part of their no strings agreement both come away satisfied. But when jealousy and emotions start getting involved in the mix they both are left feeling shell shocked. When the steaks become to high is walking away the only answer? Or will they finally understand that there are definite strings involved? Each book in this series gets better and better. Each character is so much more than what they seem and Sawyer Bennett has a knack for not only making them characters you cannot help but fall in love with but also stories that you cannot put down. Cannot wait for more!!

Dominick, we've gotten to know you with all the amazing things you've done for the team. You built a hockey family. And your determination to win Willow is commendable and pretty funny when the billionaire can't get the girl to respond to texts . Of course your alpha male hotness doesn't hurt and your stellar performance between the sheets means you get to stay around for a while. And oh the power you wield when things are going your way and when the unexpected happens.
Be prepared to want to throw your book at some point. You have been warned.
