I had to think about what I wanted to say about this book. At first, I didn’t like Alice but I couldn’t pin point a reason. And then it hit me that I saw myself in her and that was what my issue was. She was insecure and self sacrificing and I get that. I appreciate that Marco wanted her to see she was worth more. I enjoyed this book. I received an ARC and am so glad I did!

This book was different. There was a lot going on. But all very intense and emotional which keeps you on it. Marco and Alice are beautiful together.
The storyline is exciting and you desperately want to solve what is going on but you definitely don’t see the twists and turns. Alice is kind of a walking contradiction, here she is in this super interactive and social career but is the shyest most awkward human most will encounter. I got so frustrated with Alice during the book but that was only due to her crippling self esteem issues. I did shed a tear at the end of the book reading the authors comments and it really stuck with me. I myself dealt with intense body issues growing up and even during a good chunk of my adult life so being a part of Alice’s growth to self love was kind of special. Marco is a lot of things, hardworking, loyal, sexy, kind, intense….everything I love and the picture I had of him in my head….well it was pretty hot! The reader will definitely fall in love with the characters like I did, and all the characters really stick with you!
Thanks to Ari and Happily Booked for the opportunity to read and review this ARC. It’s a book I’ve thought of on more than one occasion since reading, which is always a sign of a books impact.

Thank you @happilybookedpr & @ari.wright.author for allowing me to read this book before it comes out.

This book hit me in all the feels. I felt personally connected to Alice and all her self-doubts and insecurities. As a fellow plus size woman, I understood and empathized with how she viewed herself. I loved watching Alice grow through her social anxiety and set boundaries. She was always fierce, she just never saw her true potential.

Marco is legit everything. Someone who grew up watching his parents love unconditionally he wanted that himself. He searched high and low for her, but Alice snuck right in without him realizing it. Their connection wasn’t necessarily instantaneous, but the spark was. He went after her under false pretenses, but ended up finding the one. Actions speak louder than words, and Marco was a man of action. He showed Alice every day how beautiful she was and continued to do so despite everything.

ARC Review!

I love ❤️ this so much that I couldn’t stop reading it. Marco is just amazing and sweet and Agh!! I can’t even say more. Alice is just my representation, the way Ari described her was so sweet. It is definitely a beautiful relationship between them and their personalities match so well, the suspense was good but the main thing that I was more captivated by was the romance and the action!

“My whole being relaxed while my very soul snapped to attention. Her, it said. Her. And that’s when I knew.”

Ari Wright has taken everything I love in romance books, smushed them together, and created a MASTERPIECE. My expectations were one thousand percent exceeded. ‘For You’ is truly an incredible story, with relatable characters, action/suspense, and the sweetest romance between a bodyguard and a wedding planner.

Marco will absolutely make it on several book boyfriend lists. He’s protective, intelligent, has a broody exterior but softens for his girl. He’s extremely thoughtful and one of the sweetest MMCs I have ever read about. Readers can tell just how much he loves Alice (I could cry just thinking about it). He makes her feel beautiful every second of the day and just loves being around her.

Alice is such a sweetheart. Unfortunately, many people in her life have made her feel like she isn’t worthy or beautiful enough because of her appearance and wallflower nature. Throughout the story, she struggles to love herself and does everything in attempt to please others. However, after meeting Marco, and experiencing love they way she should have a long time ago, she’s able to begin her healing journey and accept/love herself. She truly is such an incredible and inspiring character.

The romantic, yet suspenseful, plot will keep readers on their toes as they navigate through Marco and Alice’s journey. There are twists and turns at every corner which elevates this story to a whole new level. The last few chapters will cause jaws to drop. Ari did a wonderful job with the pace of the suspenseful moments as well as the romantic moments between the two characters. If you get a chance to read this book, I have no doubt that you will fall in love with Marco and Alice’s story.

Wow, when Ari Wright set out to write what’s described as “romantic suspense”, she didn’t hold back. For You had me on the edge of my seat for most of the book, and then there’s the beautiful love story woven throughout.

What really stuck with me was the characters. While we do learn why Alice is so critical of herself, it was heartbreaking at times to witness the cruel thoughts she had about herself and her body. I get it, but it still made my heart ache for her. Marco is fighting his own demons, but ends up being the swoon romantic hero she needs (that we all need).

I appreciated that the book didn’t just end when the baddie was caught and the mystery solved. Ari gave just enough time for the reader to decompress with the story of Alice and Marco working through the trauma their relationship experienced instead of quickly wrapping everything up in a pretty bow. Masterful!

Thank you Ari Wright and Happily Booked PR for the gifted ARC.

Alice Moore is a determined but introverted wedding planner who throws herself into her work for the biggest celebrity wedding, fading into the background while making others shine. However, she remains unseen and insecure, feeling invisible to herself and those around her, especially in the stillness of the night. As a plus-sized woman, I resonated with her self-doubt, feeling the familiar 'I'm not good enough' fear.
On the other hand, Marco Amir, a striking former military and police officer with an impeccable physique, is dedicated to his job as the director of security for the prestigious Stryker family. Despite his professional commitment, he longs for a deep connection and a soulmate, mirroring the ache of loneliness in his life.
Their paths cross at the Stryker estate when Marco, who had never noticed Alice before, is tasked to tail her. Through this unexpected connection, he discovers her unseen existence and decides he wants to be the person to support and cherish her. But can their budding relationship weather the truth of their initial encounter?
'For You' is a poignant tale of self-doubt, yearning, love, and the complexities of life. I found a part of myself in Alice's struggle to recognize her worth and was swept away by Marco's infatuation and desire to care for her. “For You” will tug at your heartstrings and evoke both tears and happiness!
