Let me start by saying if i read this 2 years ago i would have given it 4 MAYBE!!, i don’t know it was not for me, but my taste has really changed this is one of the major reason and i am not into light romance i need dark genres i love them
Minor ones
1.I didn’t know what POV this was to be quite honest she was talking then something else was in between which was confusing as hell.
2.the couple was killing me with lack of chemistry I didn’t feel anything from being to end and no butterflies which is a necessity in romance
3. The “baby Girl” was so cringe every time he was calling her by i was about to loose it..etc, the ending was rushed for me and not unique
I had aspects that i liked which was related to the image of women in this book how they can be strong and do what they want by supporting each other, and how the MFC was being underestimated by her family and she proved her self those are things I enjoyed more than the romance to be honest.
All in all 3 stars not my cup of tea

This one was a mixed bag for me. The story was ok. The steam was steamy. But I hated the domination stuff and the dirty talking it was off putting and for God sake people stop calling it his and her sex. Blah. Travis was creepy and way to overprotective. And Georgie liked it. One minute she is all about empowerment and the next she is doing whatever he said. Two stars cause it made me laugh a few times. I am not sure I will finish this series. Though I do want to see how Bethany's flip goes. I am more interested in that then Travis and Georgie's sex life.
only the second tessa bailey book i have read and i’m definitely understanding the hype for her books!

This was a meh read for me.
The relationship between the MMC & FMC was semi-established? I mean she comes in barging to his house (its the first chapter I'm not spoiling anything) but then they're awkward around each other?? The math is not math-ing.
Character development is a bit hard to categorise for me, or maybe I just don't remember much of it. I think this was a very easy read.

I honestly didnt like this book at all. It kinda romanticized virginity of a women which gave me the ick. It was just not it for me…

Ugh, leave it to Tessa Bailey to make me actually like a book with one of my least favourite tropes - being that the guy knew the girl when she was a kid AND she’s a virgin. I generally put those books down or just not read them altogether as I find them kinda cringe and a little creepy. But Tessa actually made this one enjoyable with the premise of Georgie wanting to be seen as an adult and taking no more shit. I could have gone without him mentioning the kid thing as much but it wasn’t too cringe bc Tessa’s writing is so enjoyable to me. The banter was amazing, the way he fell for her was making me turn pages quicker than ever. Loved the side characters as well and their girls club made to uplift one another! I loooove a good spicy af book but the tension was so great and the build up to sex wasn’t him walking on eggshells like most virgin tropes are, he did not treat her like she was breakable and the non sex scenes were hot. Only complaint is the final act breakup with a rushed proposal and ending 🌶️🌶️🌶️/5

Hot contemporary romance. As always, for it to work, you need relatable characters and Bailey gives us two with understandable troubles, both needing to be taken more seriously by people around them, but really in search of their own true identity. The rest of the cast is great too, from Georgie’s family to her friends circle, adding another layer to the story, which I always enjoy, and that promises interesting sequels.
