I don't even know how I even started reading this. I have a faint heart; I stray away from very abusive kind of books as much as possible, but I was just so intrigued about this one that I had to read it. Now I want to cry. No, I'm actually in tears, at work, and smudging my eyeliner.
What the hell did I just read? Debt is the kind of book other people should've warn me about. No one's around to warn me though, so I read it anyway. Dark, twisted, crazy, dirty, disturbing, abusive; but it's also exhilarating, erotic, wild, euphoric - just like how Mia described Tax. I have so many feels right now I don't even know how I will move on from this one.
It's hot- really hot- though sometimes dirty. 
Who hires a rape prostitute just coz she's bored? Who plans to kill but eventually fucks that person? The complexity of this story was too much for me to handle. It's so fucked-up I feel.. I don't know..traumatized? But these fucked-upness, violence, revenge, vendetta - are fillers to make up a well written story. You'll hate Tax. You'll hate him that you won't easily understand where he's coming from; but a look to the past will make you see it. Those pasts made me cry really. It's sick. Really sick. That's why Mia's forgiving. She understands. I understand. But it still left me hanging even though it's like the perfect ending to a really fucked-up story..
The last 50% found myself skimming, I think it became a bit repetitive for me.
I love stalkers, revenge, betrayal, but I couldn't get into this book.
It was like it read it before. I don't know.
It was a sexy book no doubt, and the story was on point. I don't know maybe it's me not you?

deranged, unhinged, and absolutely fucked. this is the type of dark romance that i've been craving for the longest time as booktok's recommendations just aren't dark enough. this was D A R K baby. and yes, i ate it up every fucking crumb.
