This is not my favorite kind of book, that being the LDS type. However, I did enjoy this one, it was cute, funny, and romantic.

Not the best retelling of Beauty and the Beast that I've read.

Still fun to read. It had its funny bits and its sweet moments.

Meh. Molto molto blando, come un piatto senza sale.
Manca quel guizzo creativo, con una conclusione più che affrettata.

It grew upsetting how effectively and constantly the hero wore down the heroine’s self-esteem.

This was a good quick read. I loved the characters. My favorite was Persephone she was an excellent heroine.
A few things bothered me. First off the reason for Adam marrying is to produce an heir but after the marriage it's never mentioned. The book gets a little repetitive with misunderstandings between Adam and Persephone. The ending on the other hand is abrupt and hardly gives you time to enjoy the happy ending.
Overall a fun book though.

It was fine. I can't find anything particularly annoying or wrong with it. The story was charming!

I have just learned that regency romances are not my jam.

I have read this book innumerable times now. Sometimes I read from the beginning to the end, sometimes just the parts that gave me goosebumps. Nevertheless, it affects me the same way it did when I first read it. Just like many other books that take inspiration from the Greek legend revolving around Hades and Persephone, this book also has certain elements. And is still very different in its own way.
I loved how there was no instant attraction between the leads. How they developed their feelings for each other was written very well. You could feel the chemistry between them.
Other than that, the ending of the book was great as well. It seemed like an open ending- like there could be more than that. But I think it was perfect how the author didn't lengthen it and preserved the essence of the story.
All in all, I would recommend this book to everybody reading this review! Happy reading!

P.S.
SpoilerThe parts in which the FL goes to the ML at night were very heartwarming!!

Oh my goodness this book! It was kind of Beauty and the Beast, kind of Greek mythology, and all wonderful. I thoroughly enjoyed the characters and the story and it was just super fun and of course adorable. I wish there had of been more soul searching and deep conversation that happened between Persephone and Adam, but they’ll have plenty of time for that, I’m sure.
