Reviewing Return Policy by Leddy Harper

Short and sweet quick read that had me cracking up. As a mom, I can relate to the store and choosing your battles, I can also remember the fear of being a first time mom so the conversation with her friend rang true. In fact, the only thing I haven't done out of the story is... well you'll see haha! Can't wait to read the full anthology!

If ever there was a book written that I could relate to, it is this one. I think I can still top all of the mom fails but it was definitely an entertaining read and made me realize that I am not alone in my day to day struggles. While I'm not usually a big fan of anthologies, some of my favorite authors have included stories in this one so I couldn't pass it up. I also added a few authors to my list thanks to this one.

#MomFail is 24 different authors, with 24 quick, different stories that reminded me I’m not alone in this crazy thing we call motherhood. While my babies are now teenagers, this book brought me back to so many things that went wrong back then that I can surely laugh about now!!

Sixteen years ago, I had no clue. I just turned 25 and was so unprepared for a baby. The doctor told me it would take YEARS for me to get pregnant. Four months later, I was rearranging my entire life for the baby that was on the way. Two years later, I did it again. What the hell was I thinking?!?!

I’ve laughed with my two crazy kids, I’ve yelled, I let my son roll out of my arms once when I fell asleep, feed them McDonald’s WAY many times, missed out on really important school events, cried when my son had surgery at two months old, forgot the damn PTA cupcakes, held my daughter when she broke up with her first boyfriend. So many things have happened….and I wouldn’t change a thing.

Reading #MomFail brought me back to those days when I didn’t have a clue what to do with those babies. I was very fortunate to be able to stay home with my daughter and son (and actually my nephew and niece as well) and truly enjoyed every moment. #MomFail helped me laugh at all my mistakes and realize that my kids are just fine (so far, we’ve got a few more years).

Do my kids drive me crazy? All the time. Do I sometimes stock up on alcohol and spend a small fortune at the hairdresser covering the grey? Yes. Have I made mistakes when it comes to them? Absolutely. The thing is, one day they will be in my shoes, and I’m gonna sit back and laugh. Then I’ll hand them a copy of #MomFail and let them know they are not alone.

Now...if someone will write the book to deal with the teen years, that’d be great. Thanks.

This anthology is hilarious! If you have kids in your life, their mother or not, you need to pick this up. I was laughing so hard and I don’t have children of my own yet. I have seen my relatives and friends have children and could relate through their experiences.

Each story in this anthology was so well thought out, each author truly picked some of the most mortifying yet hilarious (after the fact) moments in their day to day as moms. This is one of my favorite anthologies I’ve read yet. I was laughing out loud through almost every story and couldn’t stop (reading or laughing)!

Grateful to have received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

#MomFail is an anthology of 24 stories from different authors. Each story is a short quick read. You don't need to be a mother to enjoy these stories, I have furbabies so these stories don't quite relate to me personally but I enjoyed reading them, I felt for the mothers that were having a hard time, One of the first stories of the book What's that smell had me laughing and feeling for the parents on that trip at the same time. This is a must read for anyone that would like a good laugh and an awesome read.

I received an arc of BL Berry's story and it was hilarious! If the rest of the anthology is like this it's going to be fantastic!!!

Review is for Sex Weeks by Piper Rayne
I loved Garrett and Charlie from Sexy Beast so this little snippet was awesome. This short story had me laughing at the situations Charlie was involved in with her kiddos. You will definitely want to read this book!
