I liked it but him not being able to speak about it for so long felt like a lot. I appreciated her storyline.

This was a very cute story. Not something I would've picked up on my own, but my book club was reading it. It was fun, filled with a little angst, and some spiciness.

It's no secret that I love a werewolf romance. The coziness and the magical world building makes me want reread A Little too Familiar. I just love a werewolf that falls hard for his witch. I really enjoyed the slow burn of the second chance romance.
Many fated are usually an immediate reaction but getting a gradual reveal a great change of pace. And I love a magical girl transformation and Violet slayed hers by going I don't need a man to keep my powers in check. She was like the freaking Avatar. She still got her man but she didn't need him she wanted him. That's an important distinction for me.

After reading serious and artsy books for the last month, I picked up the first two books in the Supernatural Singles series for some fun. And that’s exactly what this book is. It’s set in a world where supernaturals and naturals, called Norms, co-exist. We are dropped into the world with a narrative centered around the characters. So we learn about the creatures, their abilities, and the rules of the world as time goes on. I enjoyed it!

While the rivals-to-lovers trope is predictable, it’s still enjoyable. The book itself is an easy read with Violet being a feisty main character who takes her “dud” witch status in stride and Lincoln being the hunky male lead wolf shifter who will make Team Jacob fans feel seen. While the main conflict gets resolved in a hand wave-y way, as I said I was here for a good time.

If I had one critique, the constant pop culture references were a bit tiresome. And the self-insert nature of the three sisters definitely made it feel a bit like a fanfic, but a well-written fanfic

I LOVED this witchy and supernatural tale! I really appreciate a book where all the magic is out in the open because magical secrecy can get kind of old. Violet and Linc are a delightful couple. I look forward to reading more books in this series!

I had so much fun with this one! Watching Vi come into her own and the slow rekindling of a romantic spark between our two MCs had me hooked!

Enemies-to-lovers, second-chance romance, and fake dating tropes for all!

This is absolute popcorn, cotton candy fluff. There are some hints of "danger" and such, but it's all taken in a very cozy-type style. It has so many of the tropes I absolutely adore. I took off one star because I felt the resolution to one of the main problems (that wasn't a relationship hurdle) was resolved too easily, while the relationship hurdle was not resolved early enough IMO.

However, the characters and their dynamics were wonderfully written. Very much wort the read if you're in the mood for a lighthearted, romantic, paranormal romp.
