Loving each and every one of the books in this series! Mother Pucker follows Shayla. She’s the mom who is super cautious about everything she or her kid does. She makes and eats only healthy food and heaven forbid she takes any risks. However, she wasn’t always that way. She used to be the fun loving, living on the edge friend who slowly changed when she got married and then again when she became a single mom. Queue the very hot and sexy Hockey player star Rowan. He’s a bit forward, he likes to live in the moment and pushing her buttons and boundaries become his new favorite past time.
I just loved this story. We had been given a bit of Shayla’s backstory in the other books, but this one really delves in. The love for her son is so apparent in all her decisions and watching her finally drop her walls down so she can learn to live again was so inspiring. Rowan is definitely the perfect guy for her. He’s patient, gorgeous and as Beckett said he’s one of the “good ones”. He challenges her in a way she needs and shows her there’s more to life than just existing. I love the banter between the two of them especially the slow burn to steamy hotness. As usual the moms and all the kids provide excellent laughs and heartwarming support. I love showing the love between best friends and how powerful that can be. This book has a wonderful happy ending and I already know the entire series is going to be one I re-read again in the future. Loved this book!

I liked this story. The FMC is Shay Kumar and MMC is Rowan “Slick” Parker. Shay lost her husband to cancer and because of that, she tries to eat healthy and doesn’t live her life to the fullest. She has a 9 year old boy, Kai. Rowan helps her with her fears and supportive of her and Kai. I loved how understanding he is of her situation. His relationship with her son is heartwarming.
