Book 3 of the Momcoms brings us Shay and Rowan's story. The chemistry between the two characters was insane! Shay is a dichotomy, eating healthy foods, taking great care with her body and her child, but she secretly smokes. She also has a strong penchant for battery operated boyfriends. Rowan also takes great care of his body, which his job as a professional hockey player requires. He does seem to thoroughly enjoy delayed gratification and a touch of voyeurism. Rowan is instantly attracted to Shay and seems to have a wonderful connection with Kai, Shay's son, pretty quickly as well. I loved both Shay and Kai's growth through out the story. I also really enjoyed how Rowan's attention to detail really conveyed how much he cared about the two of them
The characters were written incredibly well, but there was something about the story line that felt a bit forced to me. Overall, I enjoyed the story, and thoroughly enjoyed the narration. Samantha Brentmoor picked up almost seamlessly from Maxine Mitchell (who narrated books 1 and 2), and I appreciated the continuity of similar voicing of the characters. Teddy Hamilton also did an excellent job, giving all the male characters unique voices and being consistent between books 2 and 3. Thank you to Bluenose Audio for the book!

I am rereading my way through the series and I love it even more than I did when I read it last year. I think this book was a great example of how two people who are really different can help each other to grow in ways that they couldn't do by themselves. They really needed that other person to allow themselves to live life the way they should be which I feel like made their connection even stronger because they pulled things out of each other that they didn't think they were capable of. Love love love!! God, these men just keep getting better and better! I loved Beckett and then I absolutely loved Courtney and now I am so in love with Rowan. He is so kind and considerate and willing to put in the work for the people that he cares about he is so self-assured and believes in what the two of them have together so much, it's so beautiful. I always thought Shay seemed really shy and the other mom stories so I love getting to see her fire and her passion up close and personal in her own story. Such a nice reread, highly recommend!

Really enjoyed this story and didn't mind it was shorter than the others. I loved that there was a 2yr later epilogue in this one as well. Looking forward to the last book but will be sad when it's all over
and here i thought this series couldn't get any better....... enter rowan mf parker
honestly - least favorite book in the series so far, i don’t think i loved the dynamic with her clearly having issues with her mental health and obsessiveness for health and also like not getting actual help for it (just slowly getting a bit better after his help but).
still liked as a part of the series, just not as obsessed as i wish i was

Not Beckett and Cortney playing matchmaker for Delia in de end
Shay and Rowan's story is adorably spicy and a great hockey romance! The way Rowan fell in love so effortlessly with the worry wart single mother and her son was so fun to read. This is the only book I've read in the Momcoms series, but you bet I will be going back to the previous 2 because I fell in love with all the side characters as well and need to learn more of them. Such a great book in itself though so this is a absolute must read for me!
This book has it all.
It makes you laugh, cry, swoon, blush . . . You name it, it delivers!
Shay & Rowan’s chemistry is evident from the off but how they navigate it is so fun!
Mother Pucks deals with life & love after loss, forbidden romance & managing anxiety. Whilst juggling motherhood, excelling career-wise & showing up for your friends.
Shay’s ‘ball of nevers’ attitude & Rowan’s alpha-cockiness complement & balance each other so well. I just love how they challenge each other & the development of both MCs.
This series is incredible and I will never not recommend it. I love how the whole series explores, motherhood, sisterhood & challenges of finding love.
And I will never get enough of Beckett & his meddling ways

I have a love hate relationship with the book. I really wanted to like it but I feel like something was lacking.
I just loved the way Kai came out of his shelf and was acting more like a kid around Rowan. Loved Rowan as well.
The only reason I finished this book was bc I need to have some context about Delia's book. I have a lot of expectations about that one.

3⭐️ Mother Pucker by Swati M. H.
The third installment of the Momcoms series featuring a widowed single mom obsessed with healthy foods and her son’s safety and an alpha hero mmc determined to get her out of her comfort zone.
Shay our fmc works as a physical therapist out of the brownstone where she, three of her friends, their 7 children, and two boyfriends now live. After losing her husband to cancer she became obsessed with keeping her son health and easily gets stressed by dangerous activities such as hockey or high fructose corn syrup and food dyes. Enter Rowan our mmc a professional NHL player and the complete opposite of Shay. He is an alpha cinnamon roll hero type and he shows it the entire book. The chemistry between the characters is off the charts.
Besides the romance I loved Shay’s son Kai and how he was incorporated into the book. He is the sweetest, kindest little boy and every time he came onto the page he just warmed my heart.
Ultimately I ended up giving this story 3⭐️ because I felt like Shay gave up her extreme helicopter parenting style pretty easily that it seemed a little out of character for how she was described in the previous two books. I also felt like the athlete x PT relationship was done kind of in a weird way.
Overall, if you like chaos single mom commune style living with a hockey alpha hero this book is for you.
