Ahhhhhhh!!!!!! so good loved it. Time travel can be a bit complicated though.
Opal is back!!! Holly and Artemis kissed and I ship it and I don't ship it at the same time. Also, now Angeline knows about fairies wow!!
only two more books in the series!!

To read my review of Irish author Eoin Colfer's young adult novel Artemis Fowl: The Time Paradox, visit my website here: http://theobsessedreader.com/2015/07/book-review-artemis-fowl-the-time-paradox-by-eoin-colfer/.

sorry to all of you who said stop at the lost colony, I am a nasty completionist and also hate myself

ALSO sorry to those of you who genuinely enjoy Artemis Fowl, I do too for the first couple books and then it has a couple good books and then we hit…this

Time travel is not a substitute for an interesting plot. Paradoxes are not a substitute for a plot resolution. Opal really ran out of steam the LAST time she showed up and I’m not wild she’s back. Two Artemis’s could be interesting except it’s really becoming apparent that this is because Eoin Colfer can’t figure out how to write developed!Artemis and so has to keep undoing that for a bit. The kiss…is bad.

The time travel stuff made my head hurt a little, but thinking too much about time travel always does that. My only complaint about this book that stopped it from being 5 stars is the narrator. I liked the man who read the first 5 books. Some of the voices this man did made me wince and turn it down - they seemed a lot louder than the rest of the book.

I loved this one much more than the others, though not as much as the first ones due to the character development happening in this one. It was fun with an arrogant Artemis, but it's nice to see him grow up more in the latest books.

The plot was daring, dealing with a time paradox. However, I guess it worked out fine, since I don't know much about the theories behind this - I haven't read that much science fiction, mind you.
It was full of action, however, and there were a few times I was surprised of how the plot twisted and turned.

The relations were definitely put into perspective with both Holly and Mulch. Hah, his name in English is weird, when I've been reading them in Danish. Smulder Muldwerfer -> Mulch Diggums. Hah.
It really shows how long a way the gang has come development-wise and friendship-wise.

I do wonder what happened to Minerva, though? Haven't seen her in this book at all.

All in all, one of the better instalments in the series!

Love good old Artemis Fowl. :D

Seru3x, *teriakpakaitoa*. IMO, kisah tentang perjalanan waktu memang selalu menarik meskipun kadang-kadang juga bisa bikin pening
